Fetal movement 18 weeks. Daily movement?

Once you feel the baby move will you feel it daily? Is it normal to feel movement onlt once a day at 18 weeks?

Many women at around 18 weeks can go a couple of days without feeling their babies move. In fact, many first-time moms don't feel their babies move until some time after that.

The baby is still small enough to have some room to swing and kick without hitting any walls. When he or she starts running out of space and they can't help but to hit you, that's when it's a little less normal for there to be only a few movements each day.

I started to feel movement at 14 weeks, but is was really irregular. I am 23 weeks now and it kicks at about the same times everyday. Every baby has it's own personality, just like every pregnant woman experiences stuff differently.

Actually I am 21 weeks tommarow and my baby she is so active but there are days I dont feel her at all, so I poke my tummy to see if she will move or not then when I do that she does a tiny bit, I think it can be normal cause they say she is tiny but seems to be healthy, today at mu appt they had to pin her to get her heart rate she was moving around so much which she said means she is healthy, boy did it hurt when they did that though.

Talk to your OB!
Baby should move daily. Lie down quietly for 10 minutes at least once a day and count the movements. But again, CHECK WITH YOUR MD OR MIDWIFE!

I am 21 weeks and I usually will feel it almost every day. There are some days where I don't notice it though. Usually when I am laying flat on my back or propped back in a chair is when I feel the most activity.

Sometimes you'll feel it 100 x a day. There's no set quota. You might not feel it for 5 days...But the little devil's still in there. Waitin to come a roarin out!

That's normal. As you get farther along it will be several times a day.
