Use a foam/paper cup for the body, stick a pipecleaner in the top and glue on a head, glue the feet on the bottom, and glue feathers all over the paper cup. Use a piece of candy corn for the beak and a couple google eyes.

What about crumpled newspaper wrapped in masking tape? Homemade paper mache.. Blow up a balloon, then dip strips of newspaper in a mix of glue and water or flour and water. Put several layers on and let it dry. When it is dry pop the balloon and remove it from the inside. then you can use a tp roll for the neck and so on.

Soda bottle for a body with a stryrofoam head, stuffed onto the soda bottle. Paint it all the same color and then decorate with construction paper.

Good Luck
