Ok so the other day I was at my 6 year old's school play rehersal,and one of the other moms asked me where I bought his costume.{He's playing a carrot in the four food groups} When I told her that I made it she gets this discusted look on her face and Says" well i supose you would have time as you dont' work."What the hell is that suposed to mean?Lets break this down here, We are maids ,Drs,cabbies, cooks, teachers, accountants{I do the budget as I am the one who is at the bank to pay the bills be fore it closes} Dog walkers, Handy men, and to many other little things to mention. We are generaly the first up and the last to go to bed. But NO we don't work at all.I have often wanted to scream I have a real job infact I have about 4full time ones. How about you?

How common is it to have a false negative pregnancy test, especially early on in the pregnancy? I know of some people who tested negative for half the pregnancy. I'm just wondering how likely it is to happen.

He will be discharged from the hospital in about 3 and a half weeks. He has already had his 2 months immunizations and will have his second monthly RSV immunization next week. His doctor says he is the greatest premature baby success story he has seen in a long time. He said when he is discharged in 3 weeks; he will be no different than a perfectly normal, full term infant. He is not showing signs of any complications due to his prematurity. His lungs are fully developed. He is breathing on his own without any aid of oxygen supplements. After he is discharged, will it be safe to take him out when I take my other 2 Trick or Treating?

I know many of you will say "see your doctor" but with no insurance and the free clinic in my area is a JOKE, this is hard. Please tell me what you think. Before anyone gets judgemental, my boyfriend and I have been together 2 years...
I started my period on July 1st. The next one didn't show until Aug 11th. I took 2 hpt that both came up negative. I know every pregnacy is different but with my son after being late 3 days, the hpt was very clearly positive. I have had 2 periods since both regular. My question is this: My lower stomach has started to "pouch". I have had no pregancy symptoms what so ever. My day is normal, I sleep good, eat well balanced meals (with a splurg of chocolate once in a while). I have been under a lot of stress due to finances and custody with my 5-year-old. Could this cause my "pouch"? Any ideas would be helpful. Again, keep in mind I have no insurance & little $ right now. Unless someone knows where I can go in mid-Michigan for little $. Thnx

My son is now 11 months old and although I had a pretty rough pregnancy ending in the c-section he is just the most wonderful little person a mother could ever wish for. I do sometimes feel that I missed out on not having a vaginal birth because of my eclampsia but know it was necessary at the time.

Went all out on the breastfeeding because of not being able to give birth as nature intended and was quite upset when he weaned himself in July.

so when ever we put our food in plated whether it is breakfast, lunch,dinner supper or anyother time he will rush to potty. Sometimes it gets irritating as you are planning to eat and suddenly you must go wash him. Now i want to know why like that ? is to something pyschological or a habit ? does every preschooler behaves like that ?

I had my last depo injection in sept 2005. I went straight onto the pill for 3 months. Since stopping the pill in feb 2006 I've had 1 period in July. I then had acupuncture a month ago as i hadn't had a period since July. The day after acupuncture I got a period but don't know whether it has helped with my cycles or fertility. Don't know how long its gonna take to get my body back to normal to be able to conceive?

I'm 7 weeks 2 days (yay!) with twins & this morning i woke up with the worst gas pains. not the worst i've ever had but they were quite uncomfortable. i know its gas because obviously i've had the pain previously (not while pregnant) & they're high, mid-waist. anyone had any gas troubles this early on? if so, what helped ya? i took a warm bath and it seemed to quiet it down a little. any OTC meds i can or cant take?

After leaving my husband earlier this year due to many reasons but a few main ones were: He didnt want to setup our own home (he wanted to live with his family forever), He spent all the money on unessecasry items, he didnt want a family etc (aswell as other things) I thought i'd given up any hope of finding someone and settling down with a nice home and family. However something unexpected happend and i met a really nice, genuine, decent bloke, i can tell he loves me and yes i have to say it, i love him too. We have talked about having a family and a nice home and he feels the same as me, we cant wait to start tryimg for our first child. The thing is we have only been together for a couple of months, i feel ready and so does he, but what do others think?

My husband had surgery on his wrist last Monday. He is unable to use that arm for about 10 weeks. He is going to be off work for all that time. My issue is that he acts like he is disabled now. He sits around watching TV all day and does nothing at the house. I realize that he can't do much, but good gosh, it only takes one hand to put dirty clothes in the washing machine, put wet ones in the dryer, and take the clean ones out of the dryer and put them in a basket so I can fold them after work. He won't even attempt to pick up the living room. I am going to go nuts if I have to deal with this for 10 weeks. I am putting this in parenting because he is also not helping with the kids much. Any (not rude) suggestions?

I first had sex in the end of july and it was two days after my period had ended. I got my period in august for about 3days and thats it! Then, in september it was normal again but came a bit early. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for 2 yrs...we are getting infertility help and I do chart my cycles as well as use an opk. I have gotten 4 positive opk sticks 4 days in a row which is unusual for me and now my lower abdomen is very crampy...I know the basic signs of pregnancy, was just wondering if anyone was very crampy in the very early stages of pregnancy? Also, the cramps aren't really like menstral cramps, which I usually don't get anyway.

i read that if you have kids and you have been trying for 6 months or more its time to go to the doc to look in to the next steps..

well i went last week to the doc for a yearly and well i had a yeast infection and i asked about us trying since may and she acted like it was no biggie..

but i'm worried i have 2 kids and each one took 3 months of trying to conceive..i just dont understand why its taking so long this time??
