Im not under any stress, and on sunday I started spotting..but i only spotted for one day. im being told i cant be pregnant, but why would my period be so short...and im not having any pregnancy symptoms...

The duration of menses can vary without any adverse effects. Also who told you that you can't be pregnant?....a friend? Take some wise advice, they know as much or as little as you. If you have a health question go to your doctor.....not ask questions here. Health care requires information that you haven't given or can't give.

Did you lose or gain weight this month? If you lost or gained more than 5 lbs, that is probably why. Any flucuation in weight could cause this.

not all women have pregnant signs, especially very early on. assuming u had unprotected sex (or u wouldnt be concerned), there's always a possibility.
