Me and husband bedded on the August 29, and I Ovulated on August 31, and we used the pull out method, and I am not on no BC. I started my period on Sept. 17 and it ended the afternoon on the 19, and that is the way my last period was when I was preggo with my other 2 pregnancies with lasting only 2 and half days. What do you all think?.

I found out a few days ago I have gestational diabetes. I am worried that during delivery they are going to have a problem because they claim the baby will be normal size because I am not as big. I am 37 weeks. Can't the baby still be a little bigger and you not look "as big" I mean people tell me I look like I am gonna pop but they say different. So can the baby be big or would you have to be showing ALOT?

This is my 2nd pregnancy and my first bout of "morning sickness"! I felt so great with my first pregnancy and with this one I feel like crap! Why? And what can I do about it? I don't want to eat anything but if I don't eat, I just feel sicker! Any ideas?

She's being so nice to me I don't know why? Does she like me or is she just being friendly and nice cuz really she doesn't have to talk to me at all...

Well, basically I got an evening job handing out free newspapers to people in the streets, and this one regular customer of mine stops to chat to me everyday.. I find it kinda weird cuz no one really stops to talk to me, especially not girls! not that she's weird, she's really nice to me but I don't know why though and she asks me personal questions like where I'm from and my name and stuff. It's a nice feeling that she makes me feel and I think she wants to be friends, but I am just a guy handing out newspapers and she works in the office as a consultant, earns far more than I do and frankly I serve people like her in my other job in a restaurant, we treat them as customers.

Now I'm confused cuz she seems to like me or is she just being friendly??? I like her but I'm not sure if she feels the same about me? And she was the one who started talking to me, I didn't even smile at her or flirted or anything when she was passing by. She comes to take a newspaper form me everyday on her way home and stops for a chat. She must like me right? Otherwise why would she stop to chat to me everyday...

What do you think girls? Should I ask her out?

P.S I am on a tight budget right now and really don't have a dime to spend for myself, let alone take her a out on a expensive date... but I want to. What can I do LOL

Ok as weirds as this sounds during recent exams when they have checked me to see what I am dialated,I tense up,it has been tender down there I guess and thats whats causing it to hurt. They told me I am 2-3cm dialated. Is it possible with me tensing up I could prolly be more dialated and they just couldnt tell? Or either way can they tell?

A friend suggested that I take some over the counter prenatal vitamins to strengthen my hair and nails. The thing is, I'm not pregnant. What are the complications/side effects of a non pregnant woman taking the vitamins? If I take them for a length of time, will it be hard to get off them, and when I do, will there be any side effects then?

My 8 month old used to sleep like an angel 12 hours a night but for the last 2 months has been a real problem waking 3 or 4 times a night. Sometimes he just needs a dummy put back in but other times I try everything, nappy change, burping, put an extra layer on or take 1 off. He has been teething too. I found that increasing his solids helped. But that has caused another problem - I am so paranoid about him waking at night that I have been forcing food into him during the day and now have a problem with him taking the bottle. I know it's my problem so yesterday I made myself take the bottle away after he refused it 3 times. He'd only taken 10ml but then at 4am this morning he was awake and hungry. I made him wait until 6.30 and he had half a bottle but then started refusing it again. I got so tense! Seems like doing the right thing makes it worse! He's also started napping for 1 hour every morning and up to 2 hours in the afternoon. too much ? I need advice pronto! Please help

Ok so I lost my mucus plug which was tinged with blood two days ago. Went to hospital they said I am 2-3cm dialated. Today I feel like crap! I feel like what you feel when your getting your period. Cramping and back ache. I had a little tiny bit of yellow somewhat watery discharge this morning.He doesnt move near as much as he usually does. I am 37 weeks. Is this a sign of labor or do I still have weeks to go?

Question 2 lol- During the exam when the nurse was checking to see if I was dialated I got tensed up real bad because it hurt,I have actually been getting tense during my exams alot lately,could I actually be more dialated than she said If I was tensed up during exam? Your cervix is like a tissue which can tighten if you tense so could it be more?

My almost 7-week-old son seems to want to eat more at night than he does during the day. Right now, he eats 4 oz of formula every 3 hours or so, but constantly acts hungry. My ped says he's in a growth spurt and suggested 4 1/2 to 5 oz... he doesn't seem to want that much at every feeding, though. Is it normal for a baby to want different amounts at different times? He was also 6 weeks premature, if that factors in at all.

And before anyone hollers at me for not breastfeeding, I can't because of a medication I absolutely have to take.

With child abuse as this weeks issue in the news and papers, what are the boundries, and fine lines before it is actually considered abuse, or just an excusable mistake?

The only way for parents to learn is to learn by mistakes. But how can we define the line between what is a mistake and what is abuse?

iam almost 37weeks pregnant and 2 weeks ago my doctor told me i was 1cm open and she could feel the head. the following week she told me i closed up. today she told me the head had dropped and iam once again 1cm open. this is my first pregnancy and i dont really understand "open " 1cm. wouldnt that mean iam dialating? she says iam probably going to go into labor being of october. my question is is this dialatiing?if so shouldnt this be taken alot more serious?
