Yes you are dialating. I was dialated about 2 1/2 cm before I even knew I was actually going into labor. Time will only tell how fast it will progress. I am assuming you are going in for routine checkups every 1 to 2 weeks to be checked. You may still be the same at your next checkup, or may have dialated a bit more. I know it seems like it takes forever, lol. Once you have started experiencing contactions that are regular, or just feel uneasy or different than normal, call your OB/GYN to let them know. But for now, your body is slowly preparing itself for your new arrival. Good luck with everything!

Well I have never heard of you cosing back but I assume it's possible but yes you have dilated 1cm. However 1cm is not really a "serious" thing, people at 7 months walk around 2cm dilated and dont go into labor for months, but every woman is different. The more contractions you have the more you dilate, once you hit 3-4 cm diated then it becomes a rush to the hospital type scenario...

Yes, you are dilated to 1 cm. You have to get to 10 cm before you can start pushing. Although it's exciting to hear that you are dilated after a long pregnancy, when you are VERY ready to have the baby, and see your feet again, you can be 1 or 2 cm dilated for a long time before you have the baby. You are probably having doctors visits and getting checked weekly now...so no need to worry. You'll know when you go into labor, trust me. If you start having contractions, and they get close, or your water breaks, then call your doctors office. Good luck!

No, it would not... diverse people pass into labor (and dilate) on an identical time as the toddler is breech. i grew to become into 1cm and 70% effaced for 2+ weeks, he grew to become into head down, yet he grew to become into nonetheless a techniques up. Now after 3 weeks, his head is quite a techniques down.. yet i'm nonetheless 1cm dilated and 70% effaced.

Yes!! Your baby is getting ready!! You should have your baby in the next 2 weeks!! You may be done dilated to around 2 or 3 by the end of next week, but if I was you, I would make sure my bag was packed and start preparing yourself for labor!! Good Luck

Yes you have begun labor, but you need to dialate to over 3 before anything could be done. I stayed at 2cm for the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy.Nothing to worry about until you acturally go into labor.

Yes, that is exactly what that means but, it doesnt have to necessarily have to be taking seriously. Between 1-4 cm is the first stage of labor. It can take days, litterally days, to get to active labor which is anything pass 4 cm. Just pace yourself and keep an eye on the contractions if you are having any at all and just go to your dr. apt. regularly it will come soon, trust me.
