I am 17 weeks pregnant and I am losing weight. 2-3 Lbs a day. I know this is unhealthy, and I am not meaning for this to happen. I have no energy and I have dark circles under the eyes. I eat just fine. I get light headed and dizzy all the time and I have pains like the pains you get when you go running. I have never had a pregnancy like this. I have had 3 other babies. I have tried to look up anything that can give me a lead on what is going on, but I cant find anything. I would simply go to my Dr. but I am visiting with my Dad 650 miles away from home and I dont go home for another month. Please HELP!! What should I do?? What is wrong with me?? Thank you!!

my wife who's more than 8 years older to me who had given a birth twin girls 6 weeks ago she s 44 and will turn 45 on december.she already has 2 year old daughter by me. and three girls from her previous marriage.now she s developed a symptom of pregnancy.is is safe if she aborts while sh's breatsfeeding.also she s Roman Catholic her faith doesnt allow her abortion what should i do.

I will be travelling to India with my baby for the first time.
I was wondering if anyone knows what brand of disposable diapers r available in Mumabi and how much they cost.

It would really help me if I know as I am planning to go for 3 months and will not have to carry a suitcase full of diapers , morover I am travelling with the baby alone !!!

I read on a few websites that extremely sensitive nipples is a sure sign of pregnancy. I am due for my period on the 25th and today is the 21st. I know that my ovulation was on sept 11 and my husband and I definetly tried our best hoping that this is it. I also had a little bit of cramp like pains this morning and I have been hungry A LOT! I was just wondering has anyone else ever heard of this and have you had it? I am really hoping for the best!

This may seem a stupid question at first, but I have heard that the trimesters in pregnancy are actually different lengths and not exactly 12 weeks per trimester.
Im trying to work out the date my first trimester will be up. My date of last period was 17th August which would make me just over 5 weeks pregnant. do they work out length of trimester from last period or from conception? All this info is confusing me so Im hoping more experienced ladies out there may help me work out a date when my first trimester is up.

I have had a previous miscarriage so am trying to pinpoint the date when I can breathe a bit easier again.

Please, no stupid answers, only genuine helpful ones please

This morning I was sitting down watching televison and then I went to stand up I remember taking about 3 steps then I felt a sudden rush of dizzyness and a little confusion then I blackedout, during the blacking out I went for the wall to brace myself that's when I came back and realized I was dizzy and needed to sit back down. Do you think it ok for a child to wear the same clothes (school uniform) all week with out it being washed?

The reason I ask is when I was at school (13 years ago) it was ok for us to wear the same clothes all week.
For my son (7) he has a clean uniform every day.

I have the dr's oppinon on my question but i wana hear from real people who have actualy experienced my issue!
My problem is that i contracted genital herpes during my pregnancy and now im not sure wether its safe or not to have a vaginal delivery! have you "public" ever heard of someone delivering vaginaly that had no outbreak at time of delivery and then the baby had no future side effects?

My son is very small for his age(he's 7). Kids often tease him because of that. He gets very aggressive and will either lash out or cry when he gets home. I was very small when I was his age as well(no, we're not "little people".). How can I give him advice about how to deal with this when I had such a hard time myself?(I ended up beating the kids up with my lunch box, but my son is very tender hearted.). What advice would you give to your child?

and i dont know how to deal with it., it is an ongoing problem that is getting out of hand, it is really only one child who is leading the bullying by getting the others to taunt my kids and generally leaving my kids out of any games that they are playing, i am at absolute boiling point so much so i wana go round and smack the mother one, i know this isnt the ideal way to deal with it but thats how its making me feel, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I have PCOS and recently came off the Pill b/c hubby & I want to try to concieve. My last period was 09/07/06, lasting 1 week and was a result of the Pill. I have been monitoring my bbt, and it averages 97.3. This morning (day 14 after beginning my period) it was 97.8. Do you think this is indicative of ovulation?? My cervical mucous is not similar to "egg whites" yet. I'm sorry this is so long! It is just confusing, and this is my first month charting, and this was the highest temp. I've had thus far! I am also taking 2000 mg/day of Metformin. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks to all!

My daugter is 21 mos old. i know she's still young. i'm not potty training her. I just take off her diaper. it's okay for me if she has accidents. i just wan to try not putting diaper on her. i never mind cleaning if she wets herself. however, my daughter minds. she doesn't want to pee on her pants. she says she wants to pee and she's kinda holding her urine. she cries.
once, i put diaper on her, minutes later, she passed a lot of urine. she doesn't want to pee anywhere but on her diaper. i think she feels comfortable with her diaper on.
She knows how to say if she wants to pee now.
okay, i don't mean to potty train her or expect she can say and just pee. I just want to know why. i heard a lot about children who don't know if they are going to pee and they wet themselves, but never heard of one like my daughter, who only wants to pee on her diaper. i've tried to put underwear on her, she never pees for hours

I have been caring for my cousin for the past year and a half. It's a long and very confusing story. I've had to potty train him, feed him, get him to school, teach him manners, and pretty much be his parent. I live several states away and would like to know can I get full custody of him? His mother hasn't visited since he came here, nor anyone else. I'm nineteen and he is five. While this is a not a big age difference, will this count against me in court? I don't want to fight to adopt, if it risks loosing him. I already have a clean, loving, and supportive home but what other legal ramifications are there?

He says only very basic things like look, whats that, kitty, teddy, thirsty, but he doesn't say mommy or daddy. He really only babbles a lot. Should I be worried? He does a lot of other things, his potty training is going well again, he brushes his teeth and washes his hands, he eats with a fork and spoon also. But what can I do to help him start talking?
