No. It will increase your chances if both of you have an orgasm. Just lay in bed for about 45 minutes after sex. Do not get up, put your clothes on, wipe off, or go to the bathroom. Just relax on your back for about 45 minutes. This gives time for the sperm to travel. They live up to 72 hours in the body. Do not have sex every day. This will lower the males sperm count. Have sex the day before ovulation. This way the sperm will be in position. Better chances. (I had sex the day before ovulation and became pregnant. I did not have sex on my ovulation date).

In order to get pregnant, there has to be a fertilisation of your eggs by your mate's sperms.
First of all, maybe both of you should first visit the doctor's to determine whether both are healthy and capable of conceiving.
If that is the case, yes he needs to climax in order to ejaculate and release his sperms inside you and no, you do not need to climax as your orgasm has no direct effect on the release of your eggs.
On the other hand, if either of you has fertility problems, finishing or not is not the key to pregnancy.

The main idea is to get the sperms into you.
To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

You release fluids when you climax that make the sperm more mobile and easily able to travel your reproductive track.
But it doesnt mean you cant get pregnant if you dont.
Your best bet is to just have sex for fun without protection. Thats how you get pregnant. When you start having sex because you're trying to GET pregnant it wont work. It creates stress for you and try as you might you'll be 6 months down the road in a tizzy cause you're not pregnant.
Just have sex. Babies come from that, its not complicated, I promise.

no just him also when he cums in you lay there for awhile may be with a pillow under ur hips and try to avoid tighten ur muscles down there and avoid going to the bathroom for as long as u can. otherwise ur not going to get anywhere
