Its risky to have a vaginal delivery if you have an outbreak of herpes at the time but usually its left to the last few days to see if you have an outbreak or not before a descision will be made about ur mode of delivery

They will check you before you deliever and as long as you have NO signs of this STD then you can deliever vaginally! So keep up with your doctor and if you notice anything go in right away. I have never heard of a baby getting this if there were no outbreaks. But this is up to you... if you want to be 100% safe then have a c-section! Good Luck
*If you get any negative remarks about your problem... F*uck them... STD's are common... and they probaly have it too!

Personally, I don't think it'd be a good idea. I'm just general "public" so I really wouldn't know! I would think a vaginal birth would have a significant amount of risk that the child would contract the herpes. I don't know though...let us know when you resolve the question. Congratulations and good luck!

My friend who was only in high school at the time of her delivery was HSV positive. She had no symptoms at the time of delivery. Her child went blind from an eye infection at three days old. The doctor had no explanation for it.

I'd suggest talking to the doctor about getting them burned off with acid. It only takes a few office visits. Get them taken care of before it turns into cervical dysplasia.
