This is tricky because they're not experienced by the same gender, the woman is likely to tell you childbirth hurts more, whereas a man will argue that his winkle caught in a zip hurts much more! Not being experienced by the same gender will be a problem to decide which is more hurtful, unless you had some sort of device which could measure levels of pain when connected in some way to a human being. It's also individual, as each person has a different level of pain tolerance.I suggest you don't experiment on yourself 'cos you'll either end up with a very sore winkle(if you're male)or a kid to look after for years to come.

Dear Ash
If getting your winkle caught in a zip lasted for over 36 hours and then involved having a 4 inch needle inserted into your spinal column followed by an emergency operation causing a 10 inch slice into your abdomen, all your insides moved over and then replaced and stitched up again and 8 hours later all the nurses were too busy with an emergency to inject your morphine leaving you to feel the pain of it all.
Well then you would have a beautiful baby and you'd be too awed to think about daft questions like this.
You would also spend the next 5 days gradually coming off morphine but taking strong painkillers for the next few weeks.
Maybe ask around and see what painkillers where prescribed for the winkle/zip scenario and then you will have an empirical answer!
Stick to button flies just to be on the safe side for now!

Since I don't have a "winkle" I'm going to say child birth but I'm sure zipping yourself up hurts like the dickens to. I mean think about it not only do they zip it up then they have to pull it back down to get it unzipped. I'm sure that hurts pretty bad.

Child birth!!! Just imagine ........... One day you're not feeling so good, luck is not on your side and you end up wetting your pants, then you get punched repeatedly in your stomach, followed by wanting to go for a poo as soon as but you are constipated at the same time as your hips being pulled in different directions to top it all off you get the worst wedgie and rips your skin down below!!
That should give you a rough idea of what child birth feels like now ask yourself the same question, which one would you say hurts more?

I dont have a winkle, but i have given birth to four children, put it like this, think of trying to force a melon out of the end of your erm winkle, then you should be able to come to the conclusion all by yourself. Have fun with that thought!

Childbirth.
Not that I would know how much "getting your winkle caught in a zip" would hurt, but believe me, there's not much that is more painful than childbirth.

I think child birth would hurt more but women don't complain unlike us men who if we got our little fellow caught in a zip, would crying and screaming like a newborn! When Women say they have two children, they usually mean three!!
