My daughter is 10 and her toys and clothes are moving her out of her room. She has many things that have gone unopened and some clothes that have been worn once (maybe twice) and she is on to the next thing. My nieces have all received clothes and toys in excess and now I am trying to find a way to give some of these things to those in need. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My baby is 2 months old and she is 11 lbs 13 oz. The doctor said she is in the 77th percentile for weight. I thought by now she would be eating every 4 hours but it seems opposite. She wants to feed every 2.5-3 hours and gets 4-4 1/2 oz per feeding. And she will cry for more once the 4 1/2 oz are done. Sometimes I feel she is being over fed but she really screams for it and when I give her the bottle she sucks it down. Are there any experienced moms that can give me some feeding advice?

My son is only 9 years old and every school year he seems to get into trouble. Not by hitting or being mean but by not listening and always talking in class. He also does not pay attention. How do I help him so he will not get into trouble at school. My husband and I have talked with him so many times and told him that school is his education for life. What do I do?

How many children did you decide to have or do you have? How did growing up an only child influence your decision? Because you know what its like without siblings, do you want your child (ren) to go through the same thing you did?

My baby's current schedule is:

7am - 8oz formula in a bottle
8-10am - nap
10am - cereal/stage 2 foods (approx. 10oz)
1-3pm - nap
3pm - 6oz formula in a bottle
4pm - stage 2 foods (approx. 8oz)
630pm - 8oz formula in a bottle
Bedtime

How should I change this? I know that she needs to start whole milk from a sippy cup at 12 months and that I should be getting her to start feeding herself some foods. I'm confused.

My wife had a c-section, which I was present for, and I saw them perform the surgery. At one point after the baby was delivered, they pulled her uterus through the incision and placed it on top of her abdomen in order to stitch it up.

I thought the uterus was connected to the vagina by way of the cervix? How it is possible for them to remove it like that? Did they have to cut the cervix loose in order to remove it, and then had to stitch the connection back up when they put it back? I didn't think it was possible that the cervix was just sitting there not connected to the vagina, but now I am wondering after seeing my wife go through the surgery.

If anyone who has good medical knowledge could explain this to me I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

Daycare as a good or bad learing method for kids????My sister-in-law, doesn't want for her kid to go to daycare she is scared for all the things that come out on TV (abuses & all that)...
I have a 6 & 2 yrs old and they both have gone to the same daycare my oldest started when she was 2 & the other one when he was 4moths & I have never had any problems they are very social and I have notice they learn more than spending all day at home, he is talking more, he like to play, sign, eat by himself he is llearning to potty train ... My nephew is 6 months older than my boy & he verly talks & he is more shy & always with mom & doesn't want to share anything with other kids.I beileve that day cares in a way are good for kids but of course it is always best to be cared by mom... but at least a part time daycare will be fine ....Do you think daycare's are not good fot kids!!!

my symptoms are sore breasts which never bothered me before when i would get my period, but for some reason this time they are really hurting me (to the touch). my nipples darkened and i have been peeing alot. i notice it more in the morning, cause it will wake me up. in one day i will use the bathroom atleast every 1-2 hours with a full bladder. i have been very moody lately more than usual. things have been pissing me off that usually don't. i've also been very tired. i'm feeling bloated all the time. i'm so confused though because i always use a condom with my boyfriend. i've never ever been late (not even a day) with my period. even though i have my period i know i can still be pregnant, my mom had her period for 6 months while she was pregnant with me. what do you think is going on. please help. when can i test again and know for sure that it worked.

Parents may keep having babies if they had already 3 boys. If they had one boy and one girl, they probably wouldnt keep having babies.

I have a 10 month old son and my husband and I are trying to conceive another child. I want to be a stay at home mom because I don't want to miss out on my kids life. I have been staying home since my son was born, but now that we are trying to concieve another child, Iam not sure if I should go back to work. My husband has a descent job and is up for a big promotion at work. I don't want him to feel over whelmed with the expenses. My question is how can I stay at home and take care of my son but still earn some extra money so that my husband won't have to have all of our financial weight on his shoulders.

I’m 8 weeks into my pregnancy and so far I’ve only had little bouts of Nausea. My fiancé and I went to the LA County fair on Sunday and I thought I was going to have a blast. Food everywhere! But within 1 hour I found myself feeling faint and nauseous. It had to have been about 95 degrees outside. I drank plenty of water and had eaten something that morning. Why did I feel so horrible and why did I feel like I was going to faint the whole time we were there? Has anyone else experienced this before?

My son is three years old he will be four in November. He has been sleeping in his room but he does not sleep in his room for the entire night. If he wakes up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom instead of going back to his bed he comes to my bed. I usually don't notice that he's there unless i myself wake up or in the morning when I wake up. I've been trying to tell him that when he wakes up at night for him to go back to his room and still he doesn't. Ive tried everything from leavin the hall light on to leaving the lights in his room on and putting night lights in his room nothing works. Please give me ideas or tell me if i'm doing something wrong.
