Parents may keep having babies if they had already 3 boys. If they had one boy and one girl, they probably wouldnt keep having babies.

I guess it depends on how badly they want to have that ideal baby. My husband and I knew we wanted 2 children. My first was a girl and regardless if the second child was a girl, boy or St. Bernard this was going to be my last child. Some people keep having kids waiting for that girl they always wanted. I guess all I can figure is that they have a lot of money to take care of all these kids. Some people still want to have big families. In reality I dont think it would have any affect on the world population. Even if everyone could have one of each or what ever they prefer somewhere down the line they might want to have just one more.

I don't so much think that it's just down to the sex of a child or children. I have three boys and yes I would have liked to have a girl and we are still young enough to have another child, but it doesn't make economic sense especially as we might end up having a fourth boy (what a horror). We would have had three kids, whether it were three girls or a mixture of both. It is not about the sex, but about pro creation. There are so many other more realistic things that can decrease the world's population, but that debate is for another day.

Well it`d be cheaper on the benefits system.I know of a family who`ve got at least 10 girls, they all look the same..what`s the point !?,and the older girls/children become more distant from the parents.Joking here -I`ve got one son and two girls. It`d probably be easier having 10 girls!!!He`s full on.Girl`s can do boys stuff with their dad anyway. What`s the point of being fixated and making them feel inferior!?Certain males have a proponderance for the same sex.Women can get the other desired sex with a new partner. It happens.

In the case of some i guess u are right but not in the case of all
and if people did have just 2 kids boy and girl then the ratio would be more girls than boys due to the fact boys have a higher mortality rate than girls ...
people should just let nature takes its course ...

You mean, like my neighbors who had five boys because they wanted a girl... and eventually gave up? I guess that's one good argument for genetic sex selection (although there are arguments against it as well).
I had a boy and a girl, but if the second one had been a boy, I might have been tempted to have another. Well, okay, not that tempted.

I have three boys I wanted 3 children and their gender didn't matter so don't think that population would change that much

well there is a way to gender select, it costs about 10k to do so.

people have babies because they want to.
I think you read into to much why people have more than one or two kids.

having more children is not about gender. Its about many other things - family, satisfaction, mistakes
