my symptoms are sore breasts which never bothered me before when i would get my period, but for some reason this time they are really hurting me (to the touch). my nipples darkened and i have been peeing alot. i notice it more in the morning, cause it will wake me up. in one day i will use the bathroom atleast every 1-2 hours with a full bladder. i have been very moody lately more than usual. things have been pissing me off that usually don't. i've also been very tired. i'm feeling bloated all the time. i'm so confused though because i always use a condom with my boyfriend. i've never ever been late (not even a day) with my period. even though i have my period i know i can still be pregnant, my mom had her period for 6 months while she was pregnant with me. what do you think is going on. please help. when can i test again and know for sure that it worked.

The symptoms you are having can also be symptoms of a period. Symthoms of pregnancy and symptoms of a period are very similar, however.... even though you started your period, yes you can still be pregnant. Over the counter test are never 100%, the only way to get a 100% reading is through a blood test from your doctor. I would try another test or two with your morning urine. Morning urine has the higher pregnancy hormone count. I would also like to mention that frequent urination and bloating can be signs of a bladder infection, very common with woman. Sounds like you have alot of things that are abnormal for you going on, so I would definitely see a doctor. Good luck, I hope the outcome is what you are hoping for.

Get a blood test done if you think you are pregnant despite the period. It's one sure way of knowing. Pregnancy symptoms are very similar to symptoms experience during PMS, hormonal imbalances or fluctuations, and with an anovulatory cycle (cycle where you don't ovulate). So don't go by the symptoms that you go through because they can be deceiving. My cycles have been messed up since I stopped using birth control, and I get pregnancy symptoms almost every cycle (we're TTC - trying to conceive - so it gets frustrating to start thinking that we're pregnant, only to have the period come a week or 2 weeks later). Stress can also cause weird symptoms. If, however, you truly believe that you could be pregnant, it is always safe to see your doctor.

Goodluck to you!

I would goto the doctor if I were you to make sure. But sometimes being stressed out, too much exercise or other things can delay your period, I'm never late, and I've been late a couple of times.

Wait until after your period. It is rare for a pregnant woman to have her period..especially for months into the pregnancy like your mom. Your hormones could just be wacky. It happens.
