Congratulations on your pregnancy! Best wishes.

I am the proud parent of three. With my two girls, I was horribly sick for the first 6 months, could not get over my morning sickness. With my little boy, my morning sickness was very mild. I'm assuming that my body just reacted differently to the girl versus boy hormones...

Perhaps you might be in a similar situation?

Have you taken a pregnancy test, either from the drug store or at your doctor's office to determine if you are in fact pregnant? That is the only way to be sure. Hopefully, if there is any chance that you are pregnant, you will start taking prenatal vitamins TODAY to prevent birth defects (and start avoiding alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, nicotine, medications, drugs, etc).

Morning sickness is NOT a good thing, that is an old wives tale! Whether or not you have morning sickness does not mean your pregnancy is more or less viable or more or less healthy... Some women get terrible morning sickness with one pregnancy and feel fine for the next pregnancy. It doesn't mean anything.

Roughly one half to 60 percent of pregnant women get morning sickness and the rest don't. Be happy you aren't sick, there are many people who get sick!

By the way, it might be too early to celebrate if you have only missed one period, since most morning sickness starts or gets worse around the 7th or 8th week.

Every pregnancy is different. The only symptom I ever had was my breasts were sore the first few days. After that NOTHING. If it wasn't for the confirmed results from the doctor, I would have never believed I was even pregnant. I was only tired a couple of days (which I guess is normal considering I was sleeping 6 hours or less)... I didn't have any cravings, didn't gain any weight besides the baby weight... nothing.

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant with first baby. I have never felt any pregnancy symptoms. I guess I'm really lucky.
