I have a 5.5 month old baby who has caught my cold and i cant get into see the doctor until thursday. She is sneezing, coughing, was up every 1.5-2 hours last night and is irritable and is refusing to eat much. She isnt running a fever. I am a first time mom with no common sense when it comes to babies lol. Does anyone have any ideas what i can do to get her through the next couple of days?

I want a baby and I have been trying hard to get one but nothing has happen yet. and now I havent seen my period in about 4 months. Been to 2 different doctors and they both dsaid the same thing. My pregnancy test wasw negative. So whats the deal?

First of all I am 21 (just to give some background) My boyfriend and I have been doing things lately and have both gotten REALLY curious. I have thought about asking him if I can see it and do a h*nd j*b because I am way curious but....a) I am a little afraid to see it b) I am afraid of what will happen when it shoots and c) I have never seen one before d) I don't even know if I will enjoy watching it. I would like to know from other girls who have already been there done that to see if I am wrong in worrying.

My son is 4 months and he loves to be rocked to sleep. He likes when i sit on the end of my bed and bounce up and down- he sleeps within seconds, but is this able to cause "Shaken Baby Syndrome" Even though his head is supported and its not at all violent?

Ive been married for a couple years and just had my first child. All of my friends are WONDERFUL but single and still partying a lot! I want friends to go to the park with and stuff like that. I dont want to ditch my new friends but could really use some conversation about children instead of trying to pick out an outfit to go out in for 2 hours, wierd how priorities change. About two weeks ago I did something that I am not proud of. I live with my mother and my brother. A week ago, for some strange reason my mother decided to try something new for lunch, “Mountain Oysters”. I thought they were some kind of oysters, but they did not seemed like oysters at all, they just looked like big oval white balls, about the size of two softballs. Anyway, when she told us that they were bull testicles….first I was shocked, then started laughing. My brother was just staring at them with a serious face. But then I noticed that my brother begin to blush, and I could not help but to laugh uncontrollable at him, and my mother too. Then she left to do some more shopping. First I was joking with him about the oysters, then got courage and picked up one of the “oysters” to embarrassed him even more. THEN I got a little carried away and without thinking just throw the “ball” very hard into his balls!!! He doubled over to his knees and then fell to the side, his face became pale, he was down for more than five minutes, and the sight of him holding his balls with the big ball just next to him was too much for me, and I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes! He then got up, and was real mad, and just locked himself in his room. He never told my mother, I guess he was too embarrassed. He did not eat the oysters, lol.
I have been asking for his forgiveness but he do speak to me and do not even look at me!, my mother suspects that something is wrong. What can I do?

okay my son has Always loved the bath tub, well in the past week he has gotten more and more afraid of the bath tub. now its to a point that he will FREAK OUT as soon as he sees that he is gunna get in the bath. My question is has anyone else had this problem? is it normal? and are there any Special tricks to help him not be afraid? thanks!!!!!!!!

I am 1 week away from my due date and I want to have my Dr. schedule a C-Section or an induction sometime between this coming up Thursday (my next Dr.'s appointment) and the 26th (my due date). I am very scared to deliever my son vaginally because I ripped so bad with my daughter who was only 6.6 pounds and my son (as of a week ago) was 8.3 pounds. Is there a way I can just ask my Dr. to do a C-Section or an induction? Do they do things like that?

And I got an ultrasound done today. The babies measurements have him weighing at 5lbs and 5 ounces. The men I work with(they think they know more than the doctors do) say that just b/c that is what the ultrasound is showing doesn't mean that is accurate. Is this true, or are the ultrasound measurements pretty accurate?
