Stop trying so hard. Stress can really muck things up. You do need to see your OBGYN and find out why your period stopped. It is possible its just stress, but you need to eliminate the possibility its a symptom that somethings wrong. Also the OBGYN can recommend certain tests for you and your partner, to make sure everything's fine on that end. Keep in mind insurance doesn't always pay on infertility tests.

No age given. Sometimes missed periods are caused because of weight, being too thin, very athletic or poly cystic ovarian something or other that I can't remember, maybe disease is the word. If you have none of these conditions then I can't tell you why you would not have a period. If the tests were blood tests then they are accurate. If done by urine they can be wrong. The urine test is a screening test and has so many false negatives and false positives per thousand tests done. about 90 some % accurate. That Poly cystic ovarian disease is a problem, can cause you to not get pregnant and other things, no reg. period, facial hair. There is no real test for it, just a lot of symptoms. My daughter has it and has to take birth control for reg. periods. Good luck to you.

Best Idea: Stop having sex for 72 hours or more...that's how long it takes sperm to become sperm. You are probably having too much sex, which your partner is probably enjoying, but it won't help, because his sperm is not "mature"....go figure, hu? Anyways after 2 or 3 days take your time don't get either one of your body temperatures up and try getting on top. Hopefully he'll have lots of mature sperm. If you don't want to miss your ovulation, try getting an ovulation test. They are around $20, I think, just make sure that you stop having sex, so that it will all work:)

Melisa, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

well, the main question which the doctors should answer now why you don't have your periods for 4 months, don't you think. It relates to what you should do to get pregnant, if you're still not.
