If anything stroking your hair it would get oilier, the oily bits may look shiny to you but disgusting possibly to others.

no it dulls it and rinsing in cold water does nothing to . use new clariol happy shine once a month or a light silicone based spray like ion at sallys beauty supply or rub a small dime sized amount of biosilk on the top of your hair where you want it to shine. it will feel oily for a min. but your hair will absorb it.

If you use your BF/husbands member to do the petting, then yes but will stick together in globs.

2 questions:
what does this have anything to do w pregnancy and
how can petting your hair make it shinier, if that was true why isn't my dogs hair any shinier

i guess we are suppose 2 guess what she is taking about.. if you rinse your hair in vinegar it will help make it shine.. if you pet your dog, he will be happier : )

it makes your hair smoother. i did it to this cute guy that liked me on my old bus (hehehe) and i kept petting him b/c i made his hair smoother, but he didn't mind
