Absolutely. Its the same thing as a car, just a longer body. No matter what you're riding in a baby (and everyone, really) should always be appropriately strapped in.

Absolutely! A car is a car & they are dangerous no matter what kind they are so you defintiely need a car seat.

Why wouldn't you? I guess if you don't really care about your child's safety you wouldn't, but if you did then your child would be in a carseat until they have reached the required age or height and weight limits.
