They laid the keel, they should have a hand in sailing the ship.

I agree with you! I've gotten some pretty good advice from the guys on here. :) Nice to know there are real men out there who care for their children so well. I think a good deal of the time, many men are looked upon as "deadbeat dads" or babysitters, and most of the guys on here are breaking those molds. Way to go, men!

Yes. It's great that they are learning to take care of their children instead of just having their wife do all the work. My husband, when he is home from work is great with our son. He was also a single parent for 9 years to his two older kids (Now 20 & 21) after his first wife passed away.

It's awesome that Dad's want to get involved. My husband is so involved in our daughter's upbringing. He feeds her, changes her diapers, bathes her, plays with her, reads to her, and is now trying to get her to cruise along furniture. He, too, took off of work to go to my doctor appointments (not all, but most) and constantly asks me, or his Mom, questions about development and what to do for the certain stages that she is going through. It's great!

My husband's answered a few nursing and childbirth questions. He picks up a lot being married to a doula.

I think it's great that dads are contributing more than ever to their growing families. It's great to see so many of them educate themselves on topics that most traditional men would have never cared to learn.

Yes...Considering most of them won't even change a diaper!

I think some of them just cut/paste from WebMD and other sites to make themselves seem important.
I could type out detailed instructions on how to change oil in a car, but that doesn't mean I've ever done it.

Think about it.

Hey, we may not have as much FIRSTHAND experience on the nursing part, but some of us played very active roles in the rearing of our children -- I myself was a stay-at-home father for my son for the first three years of his life, thank you very much!

Don't p!ss on MY shoes and tell me it's raining.....
