She is a baby, she will NOT overeat. Feed her until she is no longer hungry & feed her everytime she is hungry. SHe may be going thorugh a growth spurt.

Both of my sons were like that, and they have always been in the 90th and up percentile for everything. I was really scared that I was overfeeding them, but they're a little older now (2 1/2 years and 14 months) and neither of them are at an unhealthy weight. As a matter of fact, my 2 1/2 year old looks positively skinny to me! He just runs around go go go go go all the time. Now that his little brother has become mobile, all his baby fat is going away, too.
One thing to check--when you feed your baby, does she continue to cry after the bottle is empty? If she seems satisfied and peaceful, then she really is hungry. If she finished her formula and you know she's full, yet continues to cry, then it's something else (colic, gas, etc.)

My son is also 2 months old and weighs 14 lbs. He eats 7 oz every 3.5 hours. It just seems like he's hungry all the time. Big babies runs on my husbands side of the family and my husband himself weighed more then my son at 2 months. I don't think your over feeding her. Many babies that are chunkie end up thinning out later on. Don't worry - a baby won't eat unless they are hungry. Good luck! Rolls are so cute anyway.

Ask your doctor. They recently did a study that suggests that children that are overweight at 2 will likely be overweight adults. You also have to think - 77th percentile of an already overweight society. So you child is over the average of a fat society.
If you have a feeling that she's eating too much (go with the mommy instinct), now is a great time to get her used to drinking water. Maybe a half an ounce at a time, or water down her formula just a bit. She may just like the idea of sucking. Have you tried just a pacifier?
Here are just a few articles of the trend of obese children becoming obese adults.

If your baby is crying for food feed her, you can't over feed a baby, they know when they are hungry or tired etc.
Don't worry about the percentile thing, my little boy is 8 months old and he only weighs 16pound 13 ounces and he is under for his weight.
Just keep feeding the baby.

You feed a baby when they are hungry. You will not overfeed. The baby will stop when she is satisfied. My son is in the 95th percentile. He was 11lbs 4 oz at his 1 month check up. Just feed that sweet baby and don't worry!!

Yes. She's only two months old. Don't even WORRY about the percentile thing (at this point.)
If she is hungry, feed her. I went through this with my daughter too. In the first few months, she was in the 90th for weight and height. She's three now, and a little skinny minnie!
If your baby is hungry, feed her. Go with your "mom" instinct.

Feed your baby as often as the baby wants. Babies are supposed to have rolls and rolls of fat. All of my sisters and my nieces, as well as my daughter, had rolls all over until they started walking, at which point they became extremely thin. Babies need food to grow bigger and develop fully. You should not attempt to put your baby on a diet.

at this age give her what she demands and don't worry about it too much. babies go through growth spurts and during these times demand more food. it will settle down.
just remember she is only demanding what she needs, she is too young to have an eating disorder yet! :)
good luck!
