If you atr TTC you should start right away.... the prenatal vitamins have Folic Acid which is important in the first 2 weeks of development to help stop certain types of birth defects.....I started to take mine with a snack before bed because in my early pregnancy they bothered my tummy. to help conceive: go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! My husband and I tried for a year and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!
and then :Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

I have been trying for 2 months but started folic acid and prenatals over 5 months ago. I take mine with food because I get a little sick with vitamins. Its best that you start taking them right away.

Start taking them as soon as you start TTC. Its a just in case type of thing. The moment you get pregnant it's important to have all the vitamins and nutrients the baby will need. I would say take them with food b/c they make make your stomach upset a bit.

Take your prenatals now! It gets that good Folic Acid in your body that your future baby will need for its nueral tube. Doctors say taking your prenatals 1-2 months before you conceive is optimum. I take mine (TTC) at night a few hours after dinner but before I go to bed. I get sick to my stomach from them, so I find that taking it then going to bed really helps. For sure take them on a full stomach. Good Luck to you!

i started to take prenatal vitamins long before i got pregnant. It's always good to take vitamins anyways. Besides, folic acid and vitamins of group B - they suggest start taking them before you get pregnant. So, go ahead and take vitamins.
Best time usually depends on the brand and your personal response to taking vitamins. I take mine once a day right after meal with a lot of water. Good luck.

truthfully, the peeing each and all the time doesnt constantly ensue, and while it does, its no longer till way later on your pregancy while your uterus is so large its shifting your organs out of how and squishing them. that's a techniques too quickly so you may well be having any "being pregnant" suitable pee subjects.. you're able to desire to easily be having an over lively bladder concern, or the pre stages of a urinary tract an infection. try eating much less water after 10pm, leaning forward once you pee to verify your bladder is carefully drained, and drink cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and cherry juice. the extra organic, the extra effective. remember, with cranberry.. ocean spray isnt what i propose.. reason thats have been given diverse junk and sugars.. you attempt to decide for the purest of juice. pom or cherry would desire to be your superb wager. try those remedies first, then difficulty approximately while you're pregnant or no longer. sturdy success!

Definetly take them with food. If you're not used to taking vitamins, they can make you feel sick. It never hurts to take them even if you're not preg. The extra folic acid and iron are a good thing to have in your body when you do conceive. Good luck

I took mine in the mornings after breakfast. My friend had to take hers at nite because they made her nauseated even with food. Start taking them now; they help get your body ready for the baby. Good luck!

start taking them now so you are in the best possible nutritional shape when you get pregnant. how or when you take them is up to you. if taking it without food upsets your stomach, take it with food. it would be helpful to take it with orange juice because the vitamin c helps you absorb the iron better.
