My daughter is now four months old. She has been sleeping with us almost every night, until recently when we've started putting her in her bassinet and crib at night. I feed her while laying in bed and fall asleep while holding her. She spends up to 4 hours sleeping on my chest without eating. Is this an issue? Will this affect her development, now or in the future?

I woke up this morning to a sharp pain in my lower stomache...ouch! Hurt like hell. Lasted for about a minute then went away. Then it just got really sore. And it wasnt braxton hicks. I've been having those for the past 2 weeks a lot. I know what those feel like. Anyone know what I could have had this morning?

There is this woman in my street who always shouts at her kids with bad names and stuff like today she said to her 8 years old ( because she had left the gate opened and the dog escaped)and I quote:"you pathetic little brat why did you open the ******* gate and left it open,go inside or I will have you!"

everyday the same story when it is not with her kids it is the husband or neighbours.

do I have to give my name?

I've posted before about how I was having trouble getting this pregnancy confirmed as home tests dont work with me until I'm around 10 weeks gone. I'm due to have blood taken for testing on tuseday but I started bleeding on Friday aft. Until this morning it was just a pinky brown discharge with small clots in. I had really bad cramps yesterday morning. I've also had really bad back pains for 4 days. Today I'm actually bleeding (very lightly) although the blood is quite dark still, but I'm passing large clots and one I just passed had some grey tissue in it and I'm cramping. Can I assume I've just miscarried again (this will be number6)? I will still have the blood test done on tuesday, will they still be able to detect a pregnancy if I miscarried today? I cant get it checked out unless I get a positive result. Oh and the pregnancy symptoms seem to be disappearing, boobs really not sore that much and nausea not present as badly as it was. I'm not going to the loo as frequently either.

I'm a mother for a 12 years old girl. She is so emotional and keeps thinking about her crush, she hates everyone in the house. She got her Period lately.
And yesterday we had an agrument because she tool from my purse $300 and when i yelled at her she said that she hates me and she will be happy if i die!
Her room is a mess lately! she doesn't eat anything except Chocolate. I'm really worried, why is she doing all these things?

During the first month and a half of my pregnancy, I got drunk several times and used cocain 3 times for the first time in my life. I'm not the partier, but I was hanging out with a different group of people at the time. Since then, I've gotten engaged and settled back down and been totally healthy, eating right and taking a prenatal vitamin daily. I've heard horror stories about what the use of alcohol and cocain in early pregnancy can cause to the baby (birth defects, mental retardation, i.e.) but I've also been told not to worry about it because I've been so healthy since then and the baby was too young for it to matter. I'm too scared to ask my doctor because I'm not known as a partier because I never have been, and I dont want anyone I know making false judgements about me. What's your honest opinion about the health of my baby?

I have been on the pill for 17 days now. Last night my fiance' and I had sex and the condom fell off but he ejaculated inside of me. How much do I need to worry about. I am 39 weeks prego and I have no contractions yet! I have been walking. What else can I do to get them started? I am so tired of this and want the baby out now. Any ideas from anyone.

yesterday i asked a question about abortin and then I wrote thanking everybody for there opinion.
Does anyone think is it right that someone reported me because what I wrote the second time was not a question but a word of thanks. this is what SCARLETT ROSE did to me. she also said that because I wrote that I believe abortion is wrong that I crossed the line and got into her business. I have 14,11,4 yr old and 11 month old, I remember not really using much baby food with my first child as it contained chalk, I think the word for it was multidextin??? Not sure actually but I know baby food used to have chalk, now its food!!!

In start of 8th month, did u ever had difficulty sleeping [not.everyday] coz of baby moving too much?
today movements at one point were like there is huge
earthquake coming inside tummy it swayed and fluttered so. much.

Also lots of bulges. it felt so funny. baby is doing so often nowadays that i cant sleep. ARE baby's this much active in 8th month and poking hard bones all the time and tummy looks like an aliens movie LOL...not in bad sense.

My daughters are 6 and 4 years old.There is no father around and of course no relatives of his side.My parents are dead and I don't have brothers and sisters.My other relatives live in Europe.I don't have enough money and till now I was working at home but it's not enough.I'm going to get a real,well-paid job,but I want some advices how can I protect my children from Children Services?I don't know what should I be afraid of more - robberies and killers or Children Services???So,my children are responsible and they won't do nothing stupid or dangerous while I'm at work,because I have learned them what's dangerous and what's not.And don't you worry about their childhood - they are very happy when they stay alone at home and they usually play dolls.So,help me,how should I prepare my children what to do and how to lie if Children Services come?

I have a 6-year-old daughter.My husband's salary isn't enough for the 3 of us.We consider some work for me either but we don't have anyone to leave the girl with(no reliable neighbours,no grandparents and no way to hire a baby-sitter).So we think she would be alone at home.But my question is that - I have friends from Europe.They all can leave their children alone whenever they want to and nothing bad happens.Their children usually stay at home,read books,watch TV,sleep,play with dolls.I think if European children can handle with such a situation,our(American) children can do it so.My best friend(from Europe) has a son,5 years old,and she regularly leaves him alone,because she is working and they don't send him to daycares etc.What do you think about that?

Okay, the morning after pill is now allowed over the counter. Great. Why must the purchaser be over the age of 18?

Part of the problem in this country is that teens dont communicate with their parents, and parents dont pay attention to their kids.
Most parents don't even know for sure if theyre teens are sexually active. Most teens dont ask their parents for advice or counsel concerning sexual issues.

When will we start making real progress in encouraging smart sex?

No offense to those who claim teens will only abuse this over the counter option, but that's bullshit.

How will I be able to tell if my baby has ear infection, or when I need to take him to the doctor. He was in 2 weeks ago for his 4 month shots and did not have one at that time. He has started grabbing at his ear this morning, did not sleep much last night and is really fussy?
