In your honest opinion, who works harder, working moms or stay at home moms? I've done both but I just wanted to see what other people think.

Is it normal for a 2 week old baby to be turning on her side already, holding her own bottle and pacifier, kissing people on the cheek, licking her tongue and laughing all the time and turning her head in the direction of voices to see who's talking? I'm just a new parent and this is my first child and I just wanted to know if this stuff happened to anyone else's babies this young or if she's right on track.

We have tried for14 years to have a baby. We have spent all of our savings going to doctors taking fertility treatments. I nearly died from a reaction a shots I took daily. One time, we lost the baby three months later and it devastated us. We mortgaged our home, and my husband took an extra job to earn money to go to an adoption facilitator. We have been waiting since forever and now they told us that our contract is up that we'd have to pay another huge amount of money if we want to adopt. We have just about given up. We are a biracial couple and we love each other. We are placing our trust in God. Do you know of anyone interested in placing their baby girl for adoption (biracial, African American, hispanic) please let us know. We would like a daughter because we have a room and tons of baby girl clothes, diapers, bottles, crib, blankets, push, everything and have had them for about a year now, waiting for a child to love. Please let us know.

if a woman doesn't want a child, and somehow the child makes it out alive or something, can she sue? have there been any situations like this?
i mean, i know there is wrongful death sues and wrongful life, i just don't know any examples of wrongful lives. thanks

Ok. I read on a medical advice web page that pregnant women can Never has their period. I also read on this pages about women who beeing pregnant had their period for three months or maybe more. I used to be pretty regular always with 7 days lenght. This month I had my period a week earlier , red but not as dark as other times,it was shorter, maybe 3 or 4 days and prior to this I had sympthoms I never had before.......sore breast, headaches, cramps 1 to 3 days before, I can't explain, but I smell things in a rare way, I' am more conscious about odors, and a little lower pain that goes in and out.
Right now I had anyway this rare thing about odors, I felt tired, not so much, but more than other days, I feel my head like dizzy sometimes I can't concentrate at work.....i pass the day thinking on nothing, I don't feel pain or sore, but I feel my breast heavy, I don't know what's happening....
I feel strange, that's anything that I could say, it' s not me
Could I be prego?

Okay so last night I was talking to a friend who told me that she had sex two days after her period ended. They used protection, but she's always been one of those people who constantly fears that maybe it didn't work or something.
So she asked me if it was possible that she could get pregnant like that. Honestly, I do not know the answer to that. I don't think that's really that probable, seeing as how she wouldn't really be ovulating yet, but I just need a little advice on what to tell her?

My sister and her husband is trying to adopt and are looking for agencies that do not take centuries to place babies. I feel bad for them because they paid an agency thousands upon thousands of dollars to adopt and they are still waiting after almost one year. They have had a crib, room, clothes and every thing set up for months and months now waiting. The agency doesn't like its clients to call more than once a month yet every day I see the agency taking on more clients even though it has a ton of clients that it still hasn't placed baby's with yet. I know waiting for a biracial/hispanic baby girl would take time but if you know of an agency that has typically, a short wait time, please let me know so that I can pass the info on to them. My fiance and I both come from a backround of abuse and neglect. We have never hurt our daughter in any way shape or form and we are strongly against abuse. We have a hard time playing with her because we don't have any experince with children and we want to give her evrything we didn't have growing up. What are some fun easy games for us to play with her. The 2's and up are so easy and we can't wait for them to come. But the 1's seem so what do we do? Can anyone give us some tips on any good fun games for a one year old to play?

well my boyfriend said that i couldn't tell anyone that we were together,but i told my best friend cuz me and him (my boyfriend) were going through some troubles...and i needed someone to talk to. does anyone else get really mad that everytime a teeange asks a serious question about sex or pregancy...and everyone answers something like..."you arnet old enough to be having sex and should hav ejust waited"....well no duh we have that figured out by the way we get all scared. the best thing you could do is just answer our questions and help us get thought what we messed up because telling us we messed up doesnt really help anything we already know that.

I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant and I have a cold, not just a minor cold. I have a full blown cold. I've tried to get a closer appt. with my dr. but his answer for everything is "All pregnant woman go through this" so since all pregnant woman get full blown colds during there pregnancy, my question is, is there anything I can do to get rid of this cold?!
I know I can't take medications, but maybe there is another option?!

Thats the philosophy my grandmother USE to go by. When ever I was growing up, if me and my cousins got out of line we would get a spanking (well, actually a switchin'). But now, we are grown up (17, 19, and 20 year olds) and we are good people I think. We have a 7 year old cousin who is very spoiled and gets away with everything. My mamaw doesn't whip her, but insteads sends her to her room. So, she still does what she wants because she knows that she'll just be sent to her room. What do you think'? Do you believe children should be spanked or not? I know it looks really bad....but in some cases I think its needed. I just don't know.
