I don't agree with it. If the teens are stupid enough to have unprotected sex, do you think they will be smart enough to take the morning after pill like they are supposed to?

i think of it somewhat is sturdy for it to be prohibited to *babies* under 17 except an grownup accompanies/buys it for them. Why? using fact if something like a rape befell, it forces the minor to enable their dad and mom understand. If the dad and mom understand, costs are extra possibly to be pressed and a document filed. If costs are pressed and comments are filed, then it somewhat is extra possibly that yet another rapist loser would be off the streets. you could no longer tell me it somewhat is not any longer a great ingredient. "some years in the past, until now the pill became available, I had an unplanned being pregnant as quickly as I used a condom and it broke"..... for this reason i've got self belief youth have not any agency having intercourse. regardless of BC, if an adolescent chooses to have intercourse, i will call them a fool. no longer using fact I attempting to be recommend, yet using fact it somewhat is silly to take such an grownup duty on your self (intercourse is a extensive duty) as a minor. delivery administration isn't one hundred%, hearts can nonetheless be broken, being pregnant can nonetheless take place, and you haven't any longer any administration over what the different guy or woman says approximately you if the dating is going undesirable. The regulation requiring a minor under 17 to have a be certain get them Plan B is in my opinion a sturdy ingredient. It keeps the dad and mom interior the loop approximately their new child's existence and the new child does not might desire to circulate by using something like that on my own.

Not a big fan of the idea. I think it should be by prescription only to rape victims personally. There are so many couples out there waiting to adopt. I am afraid that the pill would be seen as an alternative to traditional birth control. It does not prevent a pregnancy. It snuffs a little life that could have been. It should be used with great care and responsibility...not like aspirin.

I think it's a fantastic idea, I adore my daughter but I was young and stupid once too! I also think the girls that use it are smart enough to understand what there getting themselves into both while having unprotected sex and while using the morning after pill. I know adults tend to think kids or teenagers are stupid because they allow themselves to be put in positions that "some" adult would not let themselves be in, but teens and kids are smart and really know more than one might believe.

I think that too many women will use it as an alternative birth control and it will be abused. We have so many people using over the counter drugs that can not even read English, it may be used improperly. Scary.

It's absurd. It will allow people to think it's ok to just have sex with no consciences. What next, abortions at department stores, while you wait for your pictures to be developed. I vote we raise our kids with greater morals and this wouldn't even be an issue.
This is just my opinion, it is not meant to offend anyone.

I think it's a good thing, we have all slipped up once or twice in reference to B/C getting caught up in the moment or whatever. I also think it's a damn good idea that you have to be 18 or older to purchase w/o an adult.

I have mixed feelings about this drug, one part of me says it's wrong to kill unborn children.
The other part of me says I don't want to live my whole life with that party animal I slept with last night and I don't want to have a child to complicate my already messy life.

I think it's great. It will actually prevent the need for an abortion since it PREVENTS a pregnancy from occurring, it does NOT end one.
