In your honest opinion, who works harder, working moms or stay at home moms? I've done both but I just wanted to see what other people think.

Well working moms have to work and then do the job of the stay at home mom too. I don't even see how this is a question.

I've done both and I definitely think stay at home is harder. Your able to give your kids so much more as a stay at home mom and its a lot more work. My day starts at 5 am and doesn't end until nearly midnight. You never get a complete break as a stay at home mom. Because even when you do take a break you to say play on the computer your still holding or feeding a baby.

A working mom works at work and then comes home and does everything that should have been done that day at home.

I really think if you can stay at home you raise more secure children with less emotional problems. That is if you are really a "stay at home" mom or a morn that stays home and runs the roads. The "run the road" type might as well just be at work because they do not give their children quality time.

I have done both too. I think stay at home Moms have a harder job. If you have your child in daycare, someone else is essentially raising your child. They discipline your child, they potty train them, they feed them, change 80% of their diapers, color with them, teach them right from wrong, I could go on and on. Stay at home moms do EVERYTHING for their kids. But I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I think I have a much closer bond with my child than most, and I am lucky. I understand that some Moms say they have to work. But why work somewhere and make $400 a week, and fork over $200 to the daycare provider?

Both work hard, but the mom working outside of the home works longer hours. When she is finished at her paid employment position, her second unpaid shift begins in the home. No one type, stay at home, or not works harder. It's the number of hours that differ.

Stay at home moms, while the kids are toddler age or younger. They never get to complete anything they are doing in one try. They always have to stop and take care of kids. At least when they are at work they get a break every once and a while.

Stay at home mom, they do not earn an income, no incentive, never get a break. And all the working mom or whoever needs a favor will ask the stay home mom to do us a favor.
