Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 August 2006

I just feel like venting to anyone who cares to listen. I got my period today which is quite depressing, since my hubby and i are trying to have a baby. I have been off the pill since June 13th and I am aware that it will take a while, its just you get your hopes up and the here comes your freakin period. I am almost in tears because I am cramping so bad, and I just wanna go home early from work and lay down. Not that it would ease the pain, but oh well. So please someone enlighten me.... I feel like I am never going to get pregnant. I know its takes a while, but its so depressing. Thanks for letting me vent....

hurts the baby?? i know that the circulation to the baby isnt good but i have been having a hard time sleeping on my side and always wake up on my back...is there any real proof that a baby could be damaged by this?? thanks for the answers

If you peed on a First Reponse pregnancy test and then dripped a little bit of your blood on it (to get a higher reading of HcG if you are pregnant) would that work at all? Or do those test only read urine only? (I know, this sounds weird as hell, but I'm wondering if the doc's can detect the HcG in your blood sooner, then why not just mix a little urine and blood you would ***** from your finger?)

What does that mean its about my turn. Twins run on my boyfriends side of the family so it seems with 3 sets in the past 4-5 generations. It was the first time I met this woman and she scared me to death (They live 500 miles away). Is there some sort of pattern with twins in the family, they were all fraternal (if I spelled that right.) Does it matter or no?

I am seventeen and i am sexually active and i just started taking birth control (the pill) this month but last month i got my period July 8 till the 11th and then i had to take the morning after pill and it messed up my whole cycle because i got my next period july 20th till 23 so now i am on my 26th cycle day and i been cramping but no period.....should i be worried???

My enemy at school, called this boy that I HATE and asked him out for me, and he said no.(thank god, and he already has a girlfriend!!!) When she told me she did that I was soooo mad and started yelling at her. How do I let that boy know I really don't like him. Or do you think he will forget about it? Right now I am a stay at home mom with an 11 month old baby boy. I had my first son who is now 23 when I was very young and worked full time (sometimes with 2 jobs) since he was two weeks old and raised him by myself. I just re-married 3 years ago and have been blessed with another son. I stopped working right before he was born and my husband likes for me to be home with him. People keep asking me "When are you going back to work"? My sister-in-law keeps trying to get me a job. We are doing fine finacially so why are they so concerned. I cook, clean, shop, do laundry, maintain the yard and most of all take care of my baby 24/7 so why do people assume I'm lazy?? Before I had the baby I went to dinners, movies, went out shopping, week-ends away. I love being home with my baby and I never complain so what is their problem? I also take care of my mom who had a stroke and my dad who has altzheimers. I go back and forth to their house. Does anyone else encounter this?

I am pregnant with my first child. My mother had 3 girls, no boys. My father had 2 girls 2 boys. My mothers mother had 6 girls no boys. My fathers mother had 2 boys. My boyfriends parents had 2 boys.
