i have a 22 month old son that has picked up biting..and whats worse is his 4 yo sister bites him back and leaves nasty marks what do i doooo

My baby is 4 months old and she will eat nothing but breast milk. No formula. No baby food. No cereal. She is healthy she weighs 17 lbs. Should I be concerned about her not eating anything else? Or will breastmilk be enough?

I read this article today on CNN.com and was shocked at how many people were against this parenting magazine cover which shows a baby nursing from a breast.

I was just wondering how you all feel about it, please look at the picture before you respond. Also, one woman in the article said she tore up the magazine because she didn't want her 13-year old son to see that picture, because a breast is a sexual thing. I know a 13-year old boy is thinking about sex all the time, but should we really sexualize and demonize breastfeeding, and hide it from teenagers because they might view it as sexual? Or should we just teach them through example to view it as natural and beautiful, which it is.

Do verbal abuse and physical abuse always go hand-in-hand? I had a foster parent that was both physically and verbally abusive...why do some people do such extreme things to their kids, even to the point of seriously injuring or killing them...and call it 'discipline'?

i had been thinking about going on the pill and after 1 1/2 week of being on it i couldn't handle how it made me feel so i stopped taking it, i haven't taken it in 3 days and today i got my period... TWO WEEKS EARLY, my husband and i have had lots of sex and do not use any other contraceptives. we do want to have children, and i had only started the pill cause i was going to try for a new position and i was afraid i wouldnt get it if i got pregnant. well.. i didn't get it anyway, so it wouldn't make a difference either way.

is it normal to get your period when you stop taking the pill so early into your cycle?

Over the past two days I've noticed some thin bloody strings of... something when I wipe.

Today, it was slimy and yellow.

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, and I had some bleeding off and on for the past 3 days. Went to the ER and they said everything was fine, but I have a bladder infection.

What is this stuff? Normal mucus? Should I even be having mucus?
