If the woman has had babies or abortions before, or received blood transfusion, she might have develloped antibodies specific to some groups OTHER than rhesus group. and that would only be a problem if the man has the antigen corresponding to the antibody the mother has and only IF its that antigen that inherits the baby. yet, not all antigens have nocive effects on the baby during pregnancy.
When you pass blood tests during your pregnancy you get your blood group detected and a detection of antibodies(all) as well. if you have no antibodies other than those of the ABO system, then there is no problem for that. ABO system incompatibility during pregnancy doesnt matter (example, mother is O and the baby is A) but at birth the baby may have a slight hemolitic disease, but its not.. humm serious.
in your example : if the woman is B pos, she cant have a problem with the man D(rhesus) antigen no matter if its positive or negative.

I am not for sure about the b+ blood type but I do know their is a rare blood type and if the partner does not have the same rare blood type then the pregnant woman needs to get a shot as soon as she is aware that she is PG so her body don't reject the baby(Miscarriage) she will also have to get this shot after delivery to keep her body from rejecting her uterus but I'm not sure what the blood type is. If you aren't PG I would talk with your Dr. or OB/GYN before conception and if you are call the office and ask or go in to discuss it.

nope there is no risks involved in that. the only time blood type poses a risk is when one of the parents has a negative blood type. like in my case, i am b-, i had to get something called a rhogam shot in case if my baby had a positive blood type, if she did, my body would build immunities against her blood type and things could get ugly.

People who have B+ blood type are RH Positive.
It is impossible for two RH Positives to have an RH Negative baby.
