Mutated just in appearance, no. But if the baby were mutated in such a way that it could not function on its own at all, and constantly needed help from medical professionals or whatever, I might have to do so in order for it to receive the best possible care. Also, if I have many other children, and this child was going to take up all of the attention and resources away from the other children, again, I might have to give it up for adoption.

This is all hypothetical. Of course if it came out of my womb, I might feel differently. Also, I am not a mother, so I don't have any experience with that feeling.

No, I personally would not. But I also would not condemn any one who did. If a person does not feel they could parent a child successfully, then the most loving thing they could do would be to allow that child to go to a loving home. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving up a baby. It is one of the most noble and caring things that any mom can do.

NO! children are a gift and just because a baby has a physical handicap is no reason to be so selfish as to put it up for adoption.

If you carried that child and gave birth to it that wouldn't matter. You would already love it more than anyone else in the world..

Your obviously a guy right?

No

Thats my son or daughter. The mutations can be dealt with with medical attention. If you have no means maybe that is best in your case for me, I stand by my child!

No way - I spent 40 weeks growing him and 22 very painful hours getting him out - nothing in the world could make me willingly part with my son.

no way, no matter what my baby looked like i would love him/her just as much as if i had an unmutilated baby. i would not even consider putting him/her up for adoption, that is my blood, a part of me, and nothing would change that.

In this day and age, abnormalities are found in ultrasounds even in the very early ages of fetal development.

I would just nip it in the bud.
