the other day i took my gf Layla to the doctors, and apparently she had some tests done on her the time b4 that, and when she got bak the results the doctor sed she had cancer, i think it wuz lymphoma, i freaked out and broke up with her. wut do i do now? should i try to get bak together with her or move on? i think layla hates me or sumthin b/c she is totally avoiding me.

Does anyone know where I can find a pair of black pants in size 6 - 9 months for my daughter? Gymboree has some, but I don't wish to spend that much as babies grow soooooo fast. I was thinking more along the lines of Old Navy, Kmart, Target, etc. I have looked at all of the stores mentioned online without any luck. Is it too soon to try finding fall/winter clothing?

I have 1 daughter,age 15;and 3 sons,ages 7,11,and 12.I try so hard to keep my house up as much as possible.But it is so difficult,because,frankly...they do not care.They are always trashing the home.I know a family with 3 kids who simply HAVE given up,and live in a pig-stye.Should I do that as well?

We let my brother's girlfriend babysit our son today. Not normally a problem except I just realized that she GOT HIS HAIR CUT!!!! Is it just me, or is a baby's first hair cut something that the parents should get done or at least authorize? I know it's just hair, but he's our first child and it's his first hair cut! My hubby is pissed. I have no idea what to do. Well, there's nothing I can do about the hair, but what do I do about her?

For some reason, I thought it would be cool to have my next kid's birthday to be 7/7/07.

I tried the pregnancy calculator and it said that we had to conceive on October 14,2006 to have the birthdate I mentioned.

Unfortunately, I forcasted that my wife will have her peak ovulation day on October 8 which is 6 days off of the target conception date.

Which leads me to the original question .. for those of you who did this pregnancy calendar (which is about 266 days i think of birth after conception) is it pin point accurate? Or could I have a possible margin of error of +6 more days that I need. Please note that my wife will deliver though caesarian method so I could have the birthdate more or less around the target date I want.

I guess the folow up question is could you tell me if you gave actual birth after projected due date?Or before.

Thank you (p.s. I hope you don't find me selfish with this exact date thing ... when I know others may even have a hard time conceiving)

I am 8 months pregnant with our first child. Both his and my parents are really excited because this will be both of thier first grandbaby. My mom said shes going to work half days the week after we come home from the hospital so she can come over after work and give us a "break". I know she means well but my partner is taking two weeks off of work so he can stay home and bond with his daughter and I am so excited I can't imagine wanting to leave her for even an hour. Not only that but I can't feed her from a bottle for the first two weeks so its not like we will be able to go out or anything. Now his mom is talking about coming to our house all the time too. I know they mean well but I am not going to be feeling all that great and we really love our privacy. Should I talk to them about how much time they spend over here ahead of time or should I just let them come as they want until the new baby steam wears off a little?

I had my first ob appointment, and after doing the internal my doc scheduled me for an ultrasound to make sure things were ok. (I was 6wks 4 days at the time) I went to the ultrasound, and they did a vaginal. The tech could find nothing, and later on when the doc called me he said the same thing. They could find no baby, but they did find a tumor. He told me he was waiting on the blood work to check my hcg and that he thinks it was a miscarriage but we may need to check the hcg again to make sure. Up to that point I had had no bleeding, just cramping which I was told was normal. Now for the past day I have had very light spotting and hardly any cramps. Has anyone else been through this? What was the outcome?
