My duaghter is 6, and is the only girl to 3 brothers (at the time). My husband and I decided 2 years ago to try and have another girl because our daughter wanted a sister and we wanted another girl as well. I got pregnant about 14 months ago and we have since had a baby boy. My daughter is upset and wants us to try one more time.
I ended up having an emergency c-section because the doctor accidentally broke my water (trying to check the position of the baby). The babies hand came out along with his cord. The cord was wedged between his head and birth canal. After the c-section, my incision didn't heal completely and it ended up infected. They had to cut part of it open and drain it, and I spent the next 7 weeks putting gauze in the hole until it healed.
It scared the hell out of me. (I have never had a c-section before), and it was a bad outcome for me. (The baby is fine and getting big).
How do I explain to her that my body can't handle carrying babies anymore?

Hello just a question--I have a 10-month old son and was wondering if anyone else has this peculiar habit that my son has. Here is the deal my son when he is excited or overly happy about something will sometimes just totally tense up and literally looks like "superman" with his arms straight out, he stands on his tiptoes if he is being held in a standing position on the floor. I mean his whole body just goes...and this seems to all bed voluntary because he does this when he is excited or something like that.

My mother-in-law was worrying about epilepsy which I absolutely think he DOES not have but it is better to be safe then sorry, I mean you can really see how he does this on his own accord....just wondering if anyone has this certain attribute in there own child.

i'm 21 Okay when I was younger my period was normal but than all of a sudden my period stopped it was for 2. so My doctor then gave me some birth control pills to balance my hormones this past April of 2006. I than got my period on the 1st- 7th of May. It was really heavy. And than on June I got it on the 1st-7th it was pretty normal. But I got my period again in June on the 15th-22nd it was normal on the first 2 days den its started 2 get really light and brownish/pink. I stopped taking my pills mid june though. and my husband and I at that time were having unprotected sex about 6 times a week until July 5. and now I haven't gotten my period. wel I took a pregnancy test on the 15th of this month July and it came out negative so does that mean I'm not. It was one of those eqaute HPT.
I'm always feeling tired and i urinate more than i usually do and i get dizzy. so can I be pregnant?

My step-son is 4 and when I get onto him he runs to my husband and tells him that he hates me. His mother does not disipline at all in her house it is a "whatever goes" environment. His nanna also lets him do "whatever" he wants, so I am stuck being the bad person. I just want him to be able to follow the rules of the house and to get along with the other children, but if I get on to him he refuses to talk or listen to me. He will walk into the other room to tell his dad something while I was sitting right there in the room with him. I know that he is just 4 years old, but it can hurt my feelings sometimes! I just want him to grow up with good morals and an understanding of manners. I tried talk to him about listening but he won't respond or listen to what I have to say. My husband is very supportive in that he explains to him that I live in the house too and that he should listen to what I say as well as his Daddy. My step daughter 5y has no problem with the situation just my step-son
