I had to have a c-section due to the size of my baby 11lbs 7oz I was induced and in labor for along time I also tried natural birth before they decided to give the c-section. I was miserable it takes alot longer to recover from a c-section, I would have rather had a natural birth. It is the way it is suppose to be I find it rather disturbing that some people schedule a c-section so it does not interfere with there schedule. It's just not natural, C-sections should be left for emergencies, when there is no other choice.

I wonder why you're asking this since it's obvious you're male. I don't mean to be rude, just curious.

Well, normal delivery is the best way there is but we cannot remove the fact that there really are cases wherein we have to undergo c-section for health purposes. Take it from me, I can't have a normal delivery because I have slip disc. My sister-in-law has small pelvic bone (the pelvic bone opens in normal delivery or something like that),my neighbor is hypertensive, etc. There are a number of reasons why women have to undergo c-section. Don't worry, before this procedure, we have to undergo some evaluation as to the hows and whys of it. For those who just do it on purpose? Let's just reserve our judgment, shall we? We should mind our own business.

I've had 3 children, first was a natural birth, labor (front and back) lasted nearly 48 hours, second two were C-Section.........I'll take the C-Section over natural ANY-DAY!

C-section is for Mothers who can't go for natural birth. It takes quite some time to heal where by natural birth heals faster. Its also the best.

I would have to say vaginal would have to be better than a C-section. I had one and it was not fun it takes a while to heal about 6 weeks but it really takes a full year for everything to heal. It is really painful a couple of days after. I think it is crazy that people want to have one. I felt that my stomach was tearing away from my body when I was standing up or siting up. It is your choice I guess and good luck .

C-section when necessary, healing takes longer.
Natural (with epidural) makes the most sense most of the time, healing is also "natural" and quicker for most.
Natural (without epidural) because you like the pain or hate the needles, "natural" quicker healing a plus.

Natural birth is better because you heal faster. And don't have scare tissue from C-section

C-section should be reserved for emergencies and high risk deliveries. Natural birth is best but not all women can handle it. That is why epidurals are available.
