My mom gives us 100 each. But that wouldn't be enough if we didn't spend maybe 200 dollars on clothes over the summer. And 100 is just for fall clothes. So it's about 150 for fall winter summer and spring. And then for maybe a spring dance or a friends birthday party 40 dollars each occassion.

Shouldn't spend too much. Just buy clothing that's on sale 'cause a 15 year old is still growing rapidly and his or her shape is still changing. It'll be a waste of money if you buy clothes at full price.

These days, the price of clothes have gone up and many department stores really take advantage when it's back to school. You might want to check if your state has a tax-free weekend for back-to-school items.

Figure on about $200 for decent clothes, unless the school has opted for those uniforms--in which case, they usually have an idea already cemented in the parent's mind!

I say definetly like 300. Cause jeans now a days cost sooo... much like 40-70 $. I go to a private school with uniforms, so I don't have to worry about this much.
