The recent bestselling book "Freakonomics" details the effect strange baby names have on the child's life. Saddling a child with an odd name can cause hardship, while choosing a popular name can help them succeed in life. I prefer a name that is not overused but still common enough that you won't get odd looks and you don't have to spell it every time - that's gets old REALLY fast. Seems what used to be considered "old lady" names are coming back. How about Ava or Irene?

Cheyenne, Daphne, Daelyn, Gabriella, Alani, and one of my personal favorite Alexis Marie. But whose to say mine are the best lol. A name should mean something not only to you but to the child. Choose a good one and make sure it has meaning. Good Luck WIth It. =)
