My parents make a lot of money, over 100k/year.

They go on trips to Hawaii every year along with my two little brothers, buy cars with cash, have a boat, and spoil my little brothers.


My brother, who is 12, had to go to the orthodontist. He was told he had a horrible overbite among other things and he is chipping his teeth really bad. He was told that he needed braces.

He went to 3 orthodontists and they said the same thing. They all quoted my parents about $6,000 for the treatment.

My parents said it was too much and are not getting him braces.

I think they need to get their priorities straight. I mean buying my brother a billion video games and not investing in his teeth? What's next, not paying for cavaties to be filled? They are not poor people!

What do you think about this?

I am going back to work so I have to find a long term baby sitter, for my 3 yr old and 1 yr old. Every one I know and trust have jobs, and I can't use a day care center b/c my son is constantly sick. He has colds or infections all the time. With them comes the fever and any day care center would send him home and I would never be able to work. The only other option I can think about is hiring someone, but the thought of a stranger watching my kids terrify me. I've seen to many FBI Files type shows. Are there any other options out there or anything I can do to keep my kids safe? Thanks everyone

i asked a question about what i should do my kids forn tea so i can go out and i get i shouldnt go out if i got kids i am a single mom and i rarley go out so what is there problem obivousley they dont have kids or have no social life does anyone else agree that parents especally single parents need a life too

I have this big cramp in my lower stomach (like in the abodmen part), and everytime I sit down it feels real funny, I think Iam pregant Be haven't went to the doctor yet, any ideas what this can be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't have a STD, gas, or have to poop neither.

Do you think it's okay for young boys/girls to have sleepovers with each other? I'm talking about kids around the age of 6 who want to have their friend of the opposite sex sleepover. My best friend has a little boy, and I have a little girl and we're wondering if this is appropriate. If you feel it is okay, would you have the kids sleep in seperate rooms? I have heard so many myths about positions to try and I know you "supposedly" have different cravings and the baby is supposed to sit in the stomach at a certain position. But My Big question is... is there anyway short of spending $30,000 at a clinic to make sure when i get pregnant its a Boy? i am on my period but i still feel like i might be pregnant. is that possible?? i mean it was kinda late gettin here anyways and i have only had it for about five days. And the last time i had sex and my husband came in me was in june about the 15th. i didnt get my period this month until the 22nd. so do you think its possible?? i dont want to take a test because i dont want it to be innaccurate and something happen you know. and i dont want to go to the doctor cause it costs 20 everytime i go and i dont have 20. when i do have 20 they wont give me an appointment. what do i do??

A few months ago, I went to my doctor's and found out that I'd had a miscarriage (I was 7 months pregnant) and I wanted to have some kind of memories of my stillborn, so when they removed the dead body, I had my boyfriend Al record it on the camcorder because some people video record the birth of their kids and I want to be able to say that I have birthing video too. I was thinking about making the video into one of those cute li'l music videos, you know with the sweet music playin in the background. What should the background song be while the footage is playin? I am 39 weeks and a day pregnant and my face has been cool and pale a little bit.It is strange because my temperature is ok and all of my vitals are good. I went in and got checked today and they said I am dialted to one centemeter. The doctor thinks that it is more than likely my hormones since the baby is on her way. Could this be anemia? Or has anyone else had this before?
