Because they are young and stupid and just by smoking and drink they think they are all that but they aren't! Smoking can lead to horrible dieases like lung cancer, emphysema, and cardiovascular disease...

Don't know about smoking, but my reason for drinking isn't because it's cool. I drink because it's a cultural thing. Whenever someone sits down to a sports event, they grab a beer. That's just a part of American culture.

I dont think that is cool. I think dressing up and expressing your style, whether its clothes, music, art, or food lol, is pretty cool. I love being what I call "fresh to def," whenever I dress up lol. I mean you can drink and smoke, but what happens afterwards - nothing, nada, zilp, zich. You can at least be remembered or complimented by dressing up, or creating a hot song, or painting a great portrait, or cooking a fabulous dinner for your family.

its a fad that people go through- in high school kids smoke cuz they can get them and its illegal but as u get older many people does it just because their friends do it and it really is not that cool if i would have never started back then i wouldnt do it now . they way the prices are today the fad will be gone real soon

well, those people are young, and stupid, people smoke because they like it, and drinking is the same, for older people that is. young people will do it to fit in a be cool, sucks that way doesnt it

i cant stand the taste of any alcoholic drinks, and i have vowed never to smoke because my dad smokes and plus its just nasty!
