When I went to the register at Wal Mart and when the cashier rung the diapers up( i bought a big box with 104 in it) instead of just taking $11.00 of it she rung up the bigger pack for free. It was like $20.00. Do you think it is wrong for me to not go back to the store?

I mean how do the parents' attitudes change. How do the mature. My uncle is about to have a baby and I want to know ahead of time what the effects are going to be on him. I met him a week ago and he was really cheerful as he always is. I want to know if that will change. Will he pay less attention to me?

I'm always low on money myself but today is my birthday and I got quite a bit. My 15-year old is going away in less than 3 weeks (long bus trip) and says she'll die without her i-pod which is broken. It is no longer under warranty and not only will it not charge, but she also managed to ruin her charge cord by dropping it in water.

Hello!
I have this guy friend that I met this year in school. We were good friends, and we have continued to stay in touch over the summer. He was always on IM, and we talked through email a ton. Then he got a new girlfriend, and we hardly talk anymore. He takes days to return my emails, and hes never on IM anymore. When we do talk, his girlfriend always comes into our conversations somehow. Shes all he cares about anymore. He talks about how he calls her and talks to her DAILY, while I'm lucky to hear from him every 5 days or so.
I feel so jealous and upset. I expected that his girlfriend would come before me, but it seems like she comes WAY before me. He doesnt have time for me anymore.
What should I do, without ruining our friendship?

My daugher will be three on July 31st and I have been trying to potty train her since January. It was slow going at first, but then around May she really started getting the hang of it, or so I thought. She'll have 2 or 3 weeks of great success and I'll start thinking about putting her in regular underwear, but then she starts slipping up and will go for 2 or 3 weeks with no success. I've tried everything from letting her pick out her own underwear to putting her in regular underwear and letting her pee herself and nothing is working. Her doctor says not to be concerned because she is still young, but I am concerned. Any advice on new strategies would be greatly appreciated.

My g/f (17) and I (19) think she might be pregnant. Last week we were doing our thing and it ended up going all the way. We had protection the first 3 times and left it at that. We got riled up again and decided to go again and as I was reaching for a condom she said "no" that it felt better w/o it. I INSISTED that we used one and she rolled her eyes and gave me some grief about it. That put me in an awkward place. So I said fine we wont have sex A few mins later she starts kissing on me again, and gets on top of me and it slides in (unportected) for a second and as a horni teenager I decided to proceed for a minute or two before stopping and pulling out. I suggested the morning after pill and she declined. I asked her when her last period was and she cant remember. i asked her when shes expecting to have one and she said within the next 2 weeks. shes about to move out of state for shcool. shes getting a test tomorrow. hope its neg, neither of us are old enough to care for a child.help

i'm 27 and this is my first pregnancy, i was a bigger eater before i got pregnant and find that i am actually eating less now...i have not had a drop of morning sickness and i am not sure if this is why i am gaining so much

any suggestions on how to stop gaining so much? i know not to diet, but i am nervous that i will get too big

you buy Luvs (or your favorite discount brand) instead of the expensive mess like Huggies Supreme? I buy luvs for my son, and I always feel bad when I even see the welfare moms buying Pampers and Huggies Supreme for their baby. I mean, I could afford them but why? Logically, it does not compute with me. Cheap diaper works great...it's being used as a waste receptacle anyways, go with it. I also never had one of those hi-speed baby carrier thingies for my son that clicks into bases in the car and in the matching stroller. I had one that was a hand me down from a friend, and that is what he used until I bought his big car seat. Bad mamma huh?

This is going to sound weird, but my parents used to tell me that my dad would wash my mom's hair, and smell her scalp when he got done. He was able to tell that she was pregnant (she was on the pill, so she didn't believe him). I always found this a little far fetched.

But, when I was a teenager, I had a close friend who got pregnant at 14, she came to our house and he smelled her scalp on the sly. He waited til she left to ask me was she pregnant and I told him no (which was a lie, the reason she came over was to confide in me that she was pregnant). He's also smelled my scalp ove rthe years

I would ask him what it smelled like, and he said he couldn't really describe it. He's deceased now so I can't ask him again. Just wondering if anyone else ever heard of this?
