Throw a themed party of whatever she is into. My daughter turned 3 this year and she loves Strawberry Shortcake. So we bought all the party decorations with Strawberry Shortcake, and than I made a birthday cake of Strawberry Shortcake. You can usually purchase a cake modeling at a local craft store or you can always go to your local grocery or bakery and have one made.
Some of the activities we had were pin the tail on the donkey, dress-up, they had a pinata that had strings to pull it open instead of swinging a bat or stick at, and than after cake and opening presents my daughter and her friends sat down and had a Strawberry Shortcake movie marathon.
If you are still stumped for party themes, most three year olds like My Little Ponies, Disney Princess, Dora the Explorer. For some ideas and party supplies check out www.orientaltrading.com. They have some nice party packages that you can order.
I hope this helps you and remember whatever you decide to do for her birthday she'll love it.

Keep it simple, get a theme, the smaller the guest list the better, lots of balloons to have free play with. Ball on stomp is a riot, just release all the balloons and help the kids pop them. Every one loves bubbles. Just have a lot of different activities ready and chances are the kids will pick a few of them and do those over and over.

Lets see. Im a furry (one of those who runs around in the oversized costumes) so I have done birthday parties in the past. You know what would be REALLY cute? Do a teddy bear's picnic. Have her, maybe a couple of friends, bring their teddy bears to either your house or maybe a park. Set up a picnic with sandwiches and carrot sticks and the such. Get the teddies involved. Play games like I spy or maybe ring around the rosy. Have a birthday cake with a bear on it or teddy bear cupcakes. Hope this helps.

my daughter turned three in december. we had a theme party (it was star wars, but most three year-olds like normal things like princesses or Dora). Anyway, all the plates, cups, tablecloth, and invitations were Star Wars (only spent $10 at WalMart). I bought puprle party bags, stickers, and glitter glue (not too messy) and they decorated their own bags. Then we put a few pieces of candy and party favors in each bag. They thought it was the greatest thing in the world! Remember that three year-olds don't need much entertainment, and also remember that it takes them a long time to do everything, so you don't need to think of too many things to do. Good luck!!!

Birthday parties are always fun (if that is what you are looking for) I love throwing parties especially for my little girls.. I usually buy all of the Barbie party stuff. My girls love the Barbie movies so I usually have a movie party. Barbie movies are a great idea.

This is the site where I got some great ideas for my two years party.. Have fun and try not to stress out over the details.. because I have learned parties with toddlers have a way of just working themselves out and nomatter how much you plan toddlers don't stick to a schedule..

Some easy arts and crafts, or a clown or magician if you've got the money. Or you could try going to one of those big indoor playcenters for kids, most of them do birthday parties and there's usually supervision provided.
