Pregnancy & Parenting - 14 June 2006

My son who is almost seven months old is currently in foster care. He is coming home June 30th and I got his schedule.

He drinks 6 oz bottles every three hours. The foster parents feed him once or twice daily (baby food). And he wakes up in the middle of the night like a newborn. I am not looking forward to this because I was up with him all the time when he was a newborn. I need help.

My daughter is 17 months old and has started to try to climb into my bed when it is time for bed. She has only slept with me in my bed a couple times and it has been over 6 months since then. She seems to get upset that I have to pick her up to put her in the crib. Could she be ready for a toddler bed because she wants to do it on her own or should I keep her in the crib?

She doesn' seem to sleep in one place in the crib, she sleeps all over it.

She moved out last weekend and said she was living "stress free and happy". I am so disappointed. I have never met the guy. I feel like she has lost her mind. She is not on birth control and this guy is already paying support for 1 child. Do I just drop it and hope she will get some sense. I want her to get educated and get a job. I cannot figure out where her craziness comes from. I am not sure what to do. Any suggestions. I am worried she will make me a grandma and I will be paying for her babies.

I made the comment at work when another woman walked by with her newborn that I want another baby. I got SEVERAL comments that I need another baby like I need a hole in the head. MY fiance has only said that we need a bigger place and we plan on moving next year to a larger apt or a home of our own.

I won't pretend that our finacial status is great, we live paycheck to paycheck. But we are paying off and closing out credit cards, as soon as there is 0 balance it gets CLOSED! Aside from a bigger place he has left the entire thing up to me on when.

I only want two kids and my daughter is 17 months old. I think she needs a little brother or sister and I don't want them to be far apart in age.

Opinions? How far apart are your kids? I don't know what the question realy here is, I just need some thoughts on the subject.

Ihave ALWAYS had problems with my period.?
My period is never regular or happens at the same time. My husband and I have been trying to concieve now for awhile with no luck. I am getting very discouraged. My last OBGYN appt I gave the doctor a chart that I had kept showing my periods for the year before and he was amazed how irregular I was. (staying on for months at a time) He put me on BC for 6 months to help me become reg but no success. I had to have gall bladder surgery and it threw everything off with all the antibiotics and everything. The last period I had was Feb 9th and lasted normal length 3-7 days. Since then the only period I have had is the one im on now and it started May 27 I am still on it now. Its not heavy (no need to wear a pad ) it seems like if I have sex w hubby esp w orgasm I start bleeding back heavy again. Will I ever get off? I dont know. But my ? is how possible do you think it will be for me to get preg? and how can I get preg we have tried everything .

is enfamil prosobee lipil better/gentler? not colic, just squirms in pain during and after feedings - especially at night

I didn't try to make it sound like if i wanted to do it. Its just that my husband would like to know since its his first baby. Trust me, I wouldn't want to hurt the baby in any way.

I'm looking for creative ideas for what to do with unused pureed baby food now that my baby is refusing anything but finger foods. I have fruits, vegetables, and meats left over and I would like to incorporate them into my baby's meals. For instance I have been able to use some of the pureed meats and fruits as a spread on toast and then cut into small pieces (she really likes it). But, I need more ideas.

This is a warning for everyone out there. My brother died at 21. He died from an overdose from an over the counter drug called coricidin!! This is a very bad drug. I have been doing some research on it. This drug is VERY addicting, recently I found out that even teenagers have started using this drug recreationally to get high. It has resulted in things such as comas, " zombie- like" behavior (believe it or not) bleeding eye balls and death among many other things. Parents please watch what your children are taking and everyone I am begging you please please do not take coricidin even for a simple cold. There have been reports of very bad reactions even for first time use!!!!

i am only pumping my breast milk because my baby cant latch on, my wuestion is this what is the normal amount i should be able to pump for a 9 day old baby? i am able to pump 2 ounces every 2 hours. i feel it is low even though he only drinks 2 ounces every 3 to four ounces.
