Most of today's car seats let you take the cloth cover off the car seat and wash it in the washer, after it's washed just put it back on the car seat and let it air dry, It might be a good idea to wash it in cold waster so it won't shrink.

More than likely, yes you can (and should) use soap and hot water. Your best bet would be to look at the owners manual or any tags attached to the car seat and see what the recommended washing instructions are. If your carseat is made like most, the padding/cloth can be removed and machine washed or dry cleaned. That would be the best thing to do.

Little late now. Either throw out the car seat or pour some dish soap in it and scrub it with a brush. Let it sit out in the sun or hang it upside down on the clothes line and dry out. good luck and kisses to the little pooper.

Use some clorox and water mixture after soaping it down with some washing powder or dish liquid. And for extra sanitation after all is done spray Lysol over it and you and baby are good to go!!!!!!!!!!!

I would try some Spray and wash, the new stuff, and some All detergant in the white bottle. I had the same problem and it took out the stain.

Most car seats have a cover you can take off and wash. Look around and you'll see it probably does.

Yes you can use soap on the car seat. You need to kill the bacteria.
