I've seen a disturbingly large number of people on here who have declared their intention of voting for "whoever is on the Republican / Democratic ticket" instead of simply voting for the best person for the job regardless of party affiliation. This party line mentality, sadly, explains so much.

Why do you think it is, that so many of our countrymen have ceased doing what is best for the country in favor of doing what is best for the political part of their choice?

Ok, so I have been blocked which is a bit childesh to me and it got me thinking that the policy should be "If you can not stand the heat get out of the kitchen" I have yet to block anyone from the politics section and dont plan to, if i dont like the questioner i dont answer, its really that simple. If that person answers my question I just disregard it, its not hard to do. But I have noticed a lot of people have been blocked adn No its not just one side, its both! Anyway, does anyone agree w/ this policy???

I see a lot of people, especially on this forum, that like to point fingers at Christians and call their behavior bad.
The way I see it is as imperfect as Christians are at least they're trying. This coming from someone who tried to live that lifestyle in the past. It aint easy especially in todays world.

In order to gain control of the American people and also to justify the invasion of American's citizens privacy.
Note: I don't need reminders of 9/11 and other bombings. I am aware that terrorism exist. What I am asking is, is GWB taking advantage of the American people with the use of terrorism.

I don't know about you, but I do not support the idea that it's ok to torture and kill innocents because terrorists do it.

We should be above that.

A more eloquent way of putting it: Wouldn't we be better served by civil discourse and respect for one another's ideas than to constantly be attacking? I'm just as guilty as the next guy and sometimes more, but I'm starting to wonder if I'm not contributing to a problem that might do more harm to us than the terrorists could ever dream of doing.
