And Bush is the one who is trying to maintain our way of life. Yes, he is misleading. But, in the end, we are the ones who wage war by demanding oil in our everyday lives.
If we never needed oil, why would Bush fight, and sacrifice thousands of soldiers?
Of course, he personally benefits from it. But general population benefits from war even greatly - If of course oil is the priority.
I do not hold any political position, I am rather curious.

Now that iraq is settling down and even FALLUJAH the terrorist stronghold is safe, where are the liberals now?

The United States was a lawless place during our founding as a nation, why would it be different elsewhere?

Is this further proof that the surge is working?

I find capital punishment to be barbaric. I am personally opposed to abortion, but don't feel my view should be imposed upon others or that the government should be involved in something so personal. I struggle with the fact that I am willing to stand up for basic human rights of murderers and child-molesters, but would allow abortions to continue to those who seek them.

Really! Would he have to be caught having a gay affair? Molest children? Because I (and many others, I get the feeling) are wondering about this! Is there a particular lie that would send you over the edge? What hasn't he already done that would prove it to you?

Far from being worn down bye the past few years, Bush seems empowered. His self-confidence is the most remarkable feature of his presidency. It's so clear to me, i have trouble understanding why it is unclear to everybody else!

RR changed the tax codes and caused many American's in the lowest income levels to lose their houses or apartments. Also, he inexplicably closed the mental hospitals which put many mentally ill people out on the streets, of San Francisco and other major cities. Good morning America was celebrated while many shivered.
