I didn't say it had to do with extremists. I was just said that so people don't think I actually think that.

No.

Although, I believe -- and think they have experienced a completely differnt life than an American and an average American may not know squat about that previous to war-time.

What do Sikhs have to do with Muslim extremists? Or are you even aware they are an entirely different religion?

And no, I don't "automatically" assume someone in a turban is going to hijack a plane. The 9/11 hijackers certainly weren't wearing them. Most Saudis don't.

No. For one thing, I grew up in Detroit knowing that Muslims do not walk around wearing a turban (the Detroit metropolitan area has the largest middle eastern population in the US). I further understand that a Sikh is not a Muslim.

it would depend on the actions of the person. someone going about their business would not get a second glance or thought. they would have to be acting strange and that might peek my attention.

like most posters said, the 9/11 terrorist were wearing regular clothes and trying to fit in with the crowd, we assume from reports.

people are more aware now as to who the enemy is more likely to be and how they would look. actions speak louder than words, old saying but true.

No... I think they own a 7-11 convenienve store, and they are super rich, and want others to think they are barely making ends meet!!!!

Hope this helps. Its too bad that there are still many people who have chosen the path of ignorance as their guiding compass to all the decisions they make and idea they promote.

Seriously, Yes, in this country...why take a chance...look at what happened on Sept. 11, 2001, when most people turned the other way. Would I be watching their every move? Yes. Would I immediately look for an Air Marshall if I were on a plane, YES!!! Good question.

I hate to say, it would peak my interest.

Pop quiz, who bombed the WTC, the marine barracks in lebanon, and hijacked the Achille Lauro:

-German grandmothers
-English Nannies
-Belgian tourists
-arab young men

The arabic countries need to stop extremism and they won't be judged as harshly by the rest of the world.

No, the terrorists that flew planes into the Towers were not wearing Turbans. Aren't they suppose to try to fit in and look un-suspicious
