I mean they're even promoting "horserace" candidates, (those who raise the most money) knowing they'll receive the money from the candidate (in commercial revenues) if they get them the nomination. It's an obvious conflict of interest. Then again, if a candidate says they'll enforce our Anti-Trust Laws, they'll be marginalized or ignored by all of the media (TV, Print) monopolies.

I'm getting tired of her insinuating that women who stay home to take care of their families (baking cookies) are somehow inferior.

Perhaps, she is the one who should have stayed in the kitchen?

Hayden Panettiere is trying to save the dolphins, what a moron. Why, because they're cute, or because we actually have a valid reason to save them? Has she forgotten people are carnivores, and we have to eat meat to survive? These same people are so worried about the polar bears, an animal that would not hesitate to kill ANYTHING, because it needs the meat. I don't care, those things can drop right off the melting ice and drown in the ocean, it makes no difference to me.

The real threat to the world are the losers on college campuses that come up with bullcrap studies that lie about how humans are going to destroy the Earth in about 50-100 years, like somehow, it didn't manage by itself the last what, trillion or so years!

A strange paradox is preventing the U.S. oil-and-natural-gas industry from producing secure, domestic energy supplies from U.S. offshore areas. As a nation, we want affordable and plentiful supplies of energy, yet our government has not adopted an energy policy that encourages the development of America’s own oil and natural gas resources. Perhaps the Wall Street Journal said it best when it observed, "the constraints on our ability to find and extract new oil are not geologic or scientific."

According to the latest published estimates, the OCS holds approximately 77 billion barrels of oil and more than 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. That’s enough oil and natural gas to heat 100 million homes for 60 years.

The OCS resources off the lower 48 states alone are enough to provide gasoline for 116 million cars and heating oil for 47 million homes for 15 years, plus enough natural gas to maintain current production levels for almost 70 years.

Read this and see if you think what Congress is doing is a little silly.

"In response, Hofmeister lauded the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which was supported by U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, and signed by President George W. Bush.
"It was a fairly useful piece of legislation," he said, adding criticism to recent bills in the U.S. House and Senate, which he says give "no new access to oil and gas" supplies on United States soil and make it difficult to help build new refineries.
Reached in Washington, D.C., Friday afternoon, Brady agreed, admonishing "this new Congress" for "punishing our oil companies and discouraging more exploration."
Brady believes federal lawmakers should grant more access to resources in the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge and the Gulf of Mexico, in addition to the shale oil reserves.
Brady believes Americans can pay as much as $1 less per gallon of gas if the nation "took more responsibility for our own energy needs."

The question was concerning the state of NY, the state she represents. And why is she mad at Tim Russert.? Did she assume she owned him like the others at NBC? What was with Brian's question about Romney asking Obama about mistakingly refering to him as Osama? I have heard many Dems do the same thing. He sounded so indignant.
