You may be too young to remember this reference , but I think she'd bake "Soylent Green Cookies".
'Soylent Green' , a movie starring Charleton Heston where a futuristic world cannot supply food for everyone . Expensive too . A jar of jelly was like $186.00 . So they euthanize elders and feed Americans a cookie-like wafer called Soylent Green . Then the surprise at the end where Heston discovers that Soylent Green is made from . . . . . dead human beings !!
