Seems we're making it more difficult than it needs to be. If a Government official is putting in policies that make it harder to find and deport Illegals, then it seems that is aiding and abetting criminal activity,or obstruction of justice. So all we need are a couple of Attorney Generals with the guts to file the charges.

When we became independent in 1947, we were not only independent from British oppression, but also Muslim oppression. Indians forget that before we were exploited by the British, we were being exploited by the Muslims, who according to me are just as foreign as British are.

Thr truth is that before India was independent in 1947, we hadn't been indpendent untill before the Delhi sultanate was established in 7th century.

So why do we only celebrate one independence day from british rule. Why don't we celebrate a second indepndence day to celebrate our independence from the muslim mughals, who were far more monstrous than the British

Or do you think she was just being fairly questioned on her ever changing positions on issues? And do we really want someone for President who every time they feel pressured they're going to go,"But I'm just a girl, why are you picking on me?"

When talking about the problems of the Middle East and the prospect of a "terrorist" dictator", people often comment, "If you had foreseen the rise of Hitler, would you have tried to stop him?"

Well, in 50-100 years when most of us who were around are already dead, will Americans be asking the same thing about Bush? About us?

I am just curious because I have this eerie feeling the United States will suffer another attack or some catoustropic event and declare elections suspended indefinately and affirm his role as head of government as he imposed an executive priviledge declaring he could be head of government in event of such disaster. I am unsure of exactly what order it is but it is real. Anyway my question is what do you think would happen if my scenario happens??? Will Bush be last ruler of America? Will the people revolt? Will martial law be enacted and guns be collected????

as a registered democrat can we find common ground that Hillary is NOT the choice for America? I'm sure the right will have no quarrel- except Bush and supporters- mainly since SHE SOLD OUT! She has gone the path of "Holy JOe" libermann.

Any way- the media is apparenlty trying to convince the people that Hillary is next in line.

oddly most on the left i know, read, talk to etc. completely disagree. surely the right does as well.

I think we are ALL screwed with Hillary as the Diabold(bush) pick. She is perhaps the one that would never investigate bush- explains why Bush and Rove endorsed her. VERY VERY SCARY!

well, surely no arguments fromt eh right about her. But i harldy know a democrat that has faith in her either.

What exactly is the media trying to pull over on us?

Churchill: called the Bush Administration "Little Eichmanns". And lost his job for that.

Coulter: Called the widows of 911 victims "self-obsessed and enjoying their husbands’ deaths". And made money off that.

I see it all the time on here... comments like
"if we didn't play by the rules (which means kill and torture everyone like Saddam did) we would already won"

isn't that the point... why we're there... to liberate the people so they don't have to go through that? If we did that too... wouldn't that be defeating the point?

and they seem litterally irritated that "liberals" won't let them go on genocidal killing sprees?

sorry we get in your way?

Comintern’s involvement on the creation of a Slav-“Macedonian” identity and a Slav-“Macedonian" nation state in the pre-Yugoslavian era (which led Tito to assign the name of the “People’s Republic of Macedonia” to the former “Vardarska Banovina” which became the Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia – FYROM ) is attested and well known. But what about the position of the Greek Communist party -KKE- of the time? Please provide sources.

For starters, I don't *hate* kids -- that would just be weird. I just don't have any interest in them. I'm both awkward and indifferent around kids. Their behaviors seem repetitive to me and I tend to quickly lose interest and my eyes glaze over to something else. And I'm so far off from the other women who FLOCK to carriages to ooo and gooo over babies. They're kinda cute, ya, but uhh ... whatever, you know?

Some important details I'd prefer not to leave out:
I'm a 23 year old female.
No ounce of maternal intincts have kicked in yet, and I do not expect them to.
Contrary to what you may think, I'm NOT a bitter hag, but rather, I'm exceptionally happy in my life right now.
My opinion on the matter will not change.
My two sisters are just like me.

I'd just like some insight into what most men think about this. =) Thanks!

The Russia of today is not the USSR, but many Americans still hate it. Doing things like patronising Putin and installing a "missile shield" on Russia's border are extremely stupid.
Russia will turn East, where they can sell all their oil and gas and be treated politely. It is Europe which will suffer, but America doesn't care about that.

Since Congress is held in such low esteem, deservedly so. As evidenced almost daily by their lack of common sense, disregard for the will of the people that elected them, and catering to their own agendas rather than what is right for the nation. Leadership is elusive in Congress as evidenced by the pitiful performance of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Congress just does not get it. We could do no worse with a clean house.

...yet gas prices continue to lag behind and oil companies are making less profits than before. This is due to lower seasonal demand for gas-which is normal and expected. This proves the high gas prices after Katrina was due to high seasonal demand and higher demands from displaced New Orleaneans. But when it get to summer '08 (assuming oil prices are the same or higher), certainly the libs and economically uninformed will claim "gas gouging"!!! Why no uproar now? When will people realize that simple supply demand and free market forces create the price you pay at the pump?
