"The University of Delaware subjects students in its residence halls to a shocking program of ideological reeducation that is referred to in the university’s own materials as a “treatment” for students’ incorrect attitudes and beliefs. The Orwellian program requires the approximately 7,000 students in Delaware’s residence halls to adopt highly specific university-approved views on issues ranging from politics to race, sexuality, sociology, moral philosophy, and environmentalism."

Aside from that, how many schools have programs that teach children that sex before marriage is ok, homosexuality is ok, you are morally obligated to recycle, and that saying word(!) (a racial slur) is the worst sin a person can commit?

Whether you agree or disagree with these positions, they are all moral issues which are being taught in schools... are you ok with that as long as it is your position that's being taught? Apparently so...

After the AMA testified that partial-birth abortion was medically unneccessary, after Congress voted to ban partial-birth abortion, the President signed the bill into law, the Supreme Court of the United States upheld that law and that vast majority of American opposed partial-birth abortion, Senators Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, Barbara Boxer, and others have introduced the so-called "Freedom of Choice" bill (H.R. 1964 and S. 1173). This legislature is heavily supported by the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, N.O.W., NARAL: Pro-Choice America, and others. (This means lots of money which need favors in return for). So, for Hillary (and the others, it's NOT about the will of the People, it's just about power and money! Anybody else see this?

Not his exaxt words, but he is basically saying this while supporting his chosen replacement for former Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez (by the way, anyone know why "Abu" Gonzalez has hired an attorney recently?).

Bush: ""He doesn't know whether we use that technique or not," the president told a group of reporters invited into the Oval Office.

Further, Bush said, "It doesn't make any sense to tell an enemy what we're doing."

Now, if you have been following things for the last few years, you'll know that to Bush, "the enemy" is anyone living in America. This is why he illegally taps any American's phone, why he stops any American from bringing shampoo onto an airplane, and why he gives him self the right to designate any American "an enemy combatant", look them up without charges, indefinately, and even send you off to be tortured, without anyone being the wiser. He has given himself the right to do this to American citizens, this is the way it is now.

AMERICA IS NOT A MELTING POT!!!
It is a salad bowl because here in America where TOLERATED individual ethnic groups blend together, yet maintain their cultural uniqueness. Multiculturalism or Cultural Pluralism TOLERATES other sub cultures but usually has a DOMINATE mainstream culture. A example of a melting pot or FUSION CULTURE would be latin America where the WHITE dominican eats rice and beans and the BLACK dominican eats rice and beans and dance to bachata, salsa , or merenge REGARDLESS of origin.

I propose that every date have its Primary on the second Tuesday after the NFL Superbowl, that way every American can pay attention for a few days to the Candidates and their positions and it wouldn't interfer with NFL season or March Madness.

Your thoughts please

.... get out of your lives, and see more responsibility turned over to the state and local governments? Wouldn't that give us more control as citizens and a greater ability to determine where your tax dollars are being spent?

For Conservatives:

1) How can stopping an unwanted pregnancy be murder, yet capital punishment is ok? The same goes for war. I can understand self defense but war is not self defense. How can killing for punishment be justified in Christianity? I am also interested in any viewpoint about stem cell research in this question as well.

2) Why is gay marriage bad when the divorce rate is so high in hetrosexuals? What does this show about the importance of marriage and why hetrosexuals DESERVE marriage over gays?

3) Why is it bad to spend money improving the lives of people in this country and considered a waste, when money is being wasted in Iraq? Why are people ok with improving the lives of people in other countries with their tax dollars, but not here at home?
