How can that be if he's as stupid as the liberals are constantly accusing him of being? Something doesn't compute. If he were that stupid and incompetant the Democrats should have been able to make something stick by now, and yet they fail at every turn. It can't be Rove anymore. Rove's gone. The democrats have their best minds working 'round the clock, trying to bring him down - Pelosi, Clinton, Shumer, Reid, Boxer, Kennedy, MoveOn.Org, Media Matters, plus 90% of the media, and yet he's still there, winning every skirmish. It makes no sense. They should have been able to send him back to Texas long ago, along with Cheney. Nancy should have been the President months ago.

On Tuesday, October 30th, 2007 the security forces arrested about twenty students from the same college, for protesting against the Islamic government actions against students.

All but three of the students arrested were released after signing prearranged repentance expressing remorse and agreeing to forfeit their civil rights if they reoffend.

Three of these students have refused to sign such documents which could turn into their legal death sentences if framed or arrested by the government agents again.

For that reason and other unspoken interests, the Ministry of Intelligence ordered the three students to be transferred to one of their undisclosed locations - presumably for

After quite a log time out of the US and in Japan, I come to realize why our nation is always criticized by other countries and I agree with them now. I used to think that the US was always criticized because we where a better nation of the world and that others "envied" or way of life, but that turned out to be really ignorant of me. I'll get to the point, after spending 2 years I japan I realized how inferior the US has gotten over the years, I see how we are manipulated by the media and its effect on our lives, the media seems perverted to me now and unwatchable. I see how education system in our country is so bad and disgusting in terms of standards compared to the rest of civilization. I now see how our government is so corrupt and driven by money and power instead of trying to rally make an effort in making a better society which has great potential. I would not expect you guys to understand me cuase if you did we would not be in this mess we are in now. America needs to wake-up

I know that Bush's 'war on terrorism' is just a facade for covering up his real intentions. All this time I thought maybe his real motivation for invading and occupying Iraq was all about oil. But I'm beginning to think there's more to it than that. I'm thinking it's still about oil, but on a much larger scale. I think Iraq was just a stepping stone, strategic placement of US armed forces. Suddenly the focus has changed, and all eyes are on Iran and their "Nuclear intentions". As if there isn't enough crap to deal with over there already! Now we have to worry about a major confrontation with Iran too? If I could ask the government just one question, and they HAD to be totally honest in their answer, I'd say, "Allright Bush- No more B.S. What are we REALLY doing over there???" I wonder what he'd say...

You be the judge.

"People living a hundred years from now will be puzzled by today’s America. The signs of impending destructive war are everywhere. We do not see the signs because we do not want to see them. This is true in the White House, at the CIA, in the major newspapers and within major corporations. Russia and China are maneuvering against the United States on all fronts. Russia and China are supporting Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc. All the worst regimes, led by criminals and butchers, are supported by Moscow and Beijing. The objective is to arm as many rogue states as possible. And the reason for doing so is transparent.
A researcher and former news editor wrote the following note to me last week: “Russia has been conducting war in Chechnya for years, slaughtering, raping, imprisoning and displacing Muslims. Russia slaughtered Muslims for ten years in Afghanistan. Russia is ‘right next door’ [to the terrorists]..."

Our country is already in a situation of deficit spending, so where is the money for universal health care going to come from. Over the next 40-50 years, our government is going to have to pay out increasing amounts to social security and medicare to our aging population that is living longer, and we already supply medicaid and welfare to the poor of the country. So where, among all of this social spending already, is money going to come from to foot the bill for universal health care. The poor are already receiving 30% more in benefits from the government than they are paying out in taxes, so do they think that this is a handout that they are given the right to? I just don't see how universal health care will do anything but promote more unemployment and higher taxes causing our savings problem to get worse, among other things. A higher tax has been proven to cause people to work less. If you don't believe this is true look at Iceland in 1987 when their income wasn't taxed.
