I agree, I really wish that God in our public schools were never removed!!! Studying along with God and goodness in our schools, prayers and singing God Bless America, every morning, of everyday, as youngsters, truly made a difference in our lives....America was a differenct country when we showed RESPECT to our American flag, and our country....times sure has changed in the American system since the God was removed from our public schools. Our YOUTH are suffering...they need substance in their lives...Integrity starts when you're young...not when you're in high school....then, it's too late! Now, some of our public high schools are a horrible place, unless, UNLESS the parents are fully involved in their children's lives. Parents, our children cannot have God in their schools, however, they can have YOU...make a difference in their lives...like God did in ours when we went to school.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! PEACE!

For one thing, it isn't devoid of it. There are plenty of ethical people still around!

In general, the facts that 1) corporations run the country in so many ways, 2) corporations are not accountable, so they can lie, as in their false advertisements suggesting that beer=sex, cars=sex, etc. 3) public figures are not punished much for their wrong acts (like OJ Simpson, or Clinton or other rich people) 4) kids see this in the media...

makes it look like America has no morals.

But the "little people", the ones you never see or hear of--we still have integrity & morals. We just don't get any publicity for it!!

Moral America ... the nineteen sixties were not actually all that different from the twenties, when television was new censorship presented an unrealistic version of American life, it was a tactic of the cold war..."IN GOD WE TRUST" came after "E PLURIBUS UNUM" not before.
...world war 2 and the moral authority.
It was all smoke and mirrors, morals are not on a decline in America, we are just being honest again, and the Internet allows for forms of communication that would have been impossible over a phone line...no pervert could randomly dial a number and reach a 14 year child.

It was about 15 years ago when my nephew who was 7 came home from school and said, "Why is everyone mad at the President, he only cheated on his wife". That is what he learned in school that day. He did not learn it at home.

Thank God my cousin reprogrammed him, and they have always lived a nice, happy, and moral life. He is now still a great kid and studying at NYU for law.

Woodstock also had a lot to do with it. That's around the time when both parents were forced to work in order to be able to provide for their families.

Isn't it funny how Hillary wants to build a memorial (Woodstock) for it? Hmmm...makes you wonder.

Because no one cares about morals, truth, loyalty, friendships or commitment. All they want is to do what feels good now without the foresight of knowing what they are destroying.I shouldn't say everyone because that would be wrong. But the odds of the truth to the matter is very high.

It took a huge plunge about 15 years ago when a weasel named Clinton and his swine of a wife arrived on the scene.

Back when Clinton was in Office the conservatives said that he was the blame for the lack of morality in America, We can say the same for the lack of honesty and integrity with Bush in office!

It's all a personal decision, but I happen to believe that the media is partially responsible. People need to turn the "idiot box" off and get a life.
