rationing health care to save money? This will be a disaster. If I am a 70 year old person who will probably live 20 more years because I took good care of my health through the years, will I still be eligible for an organ transplant?

I am writing a paper on healthcare, and that is my tentative proposal. What arguments could be made for or against this argument?
I think of this as a compromise in the debate over whether or not we should have socialized medicine. I dont think that the government should run things, they should merely guide them in a way that is most benificial to our people. I think that insurance companies are too powerful and that they have a negative influence on our healthcare system. If we limited their profit and reduced their influence, I think our healthcare industry would be able to run more effectively and at a lower cost to everyone.

What do you think?

I'm not looking for opinions. I want to know exactly what we are doing over there and what the Bush administration has said from the beginning. My dad is very against the war. From what he tells me about it I am to but I don't know everything and so I'd like to be informed with facts not opinions.

I say its McCain or possibly Romney. People seem to connect with them.

Thompson is a dud, who has failed to make the impact that was anticipated.

Gulianni would fail misarably against Clinton, as he would fail to energize the conservative base of the GOP. Those folks would stay home on election day.

For me, McCain is he best choice. Romney would be #2.

Your thoughts?

A newspaper in England gave a list today of the the 100 most influential liberals & conservatives in the United States. And do you know who they think is the most influential conservative in the U.S.? They said f-ing Rudy Giuliani. He supports gay marriage, legalized abortion, gun restrictions, & he made NYC into a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants. How is he in any way a conservative? Also they messed up by listing Michael Savage as #63, Pat Buchanan as #80, & Ann Coulter as # 84. They should all be much higher on the list.
